Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
That was a quick and easy round, reverting the stage back to the basic mode.
Ref Note:
I believe if all the pokemon on one side of the field are KO'd, the round automatically ends, which is why I decided not to count aura's extra actions for the round
Floraedit: and for the matter, rewindman's assumption is correct!
Xaqwais, go ahead and send out your last pokemon and orders!
There hasn't been enough dancing since Brady was in here. Dragon Dance up first off, then go for a Dragon Claw. Just go for another Dragon Claw after that, we wanna make this quick and clean.
Sorry Xaq, I'm not here to make it quick and clean. Aura, now's your chance! Start with Hi Jump Kick to get the damage rolling in, then use Counter twice to reflect his Dragon Claws right back. That big Hit Point advantage won't be there for long!
Out comes a silly little dragon named silly! Aura, now realizing he may not be the cutest pokemon on the field, attacks with a Hi Jump Kick at his new foe, dealing some nice damage! Silly, instead of getting angry and attacking back, just does a little Dragon Dance, increasing its attack and speed stat! Oh Silly, you so crazy! Now ready for battle, Silly runs towards the Riolu and hammers it with a Dragon Claw! However, instead of wincing in pain, Aura just smiles and takes the hit! Silly is confused for a second, until it becomes clear when he gets hit by a full fledged Counter! Silly flies backwards, but manages to regain his footing. Now really angry, he runs forwards and attacks with another Dragon Claw, only to be hit by the same counter!
Damage and Energy:
Silly:
Dragon Dance:6 Energy
Dragon Claw:15 Damage, 5 Energy
Dragon Claw:15 Damage, 9 Energy
Aura:
Hi Jump Kick:19 Damage, 7 Energy
Counter: 23 Damage, 14 Energy
Counter: 23 Damage, 18 Energy
Wow, not this is a game! Aura, thanks to some tactical maneuvers, managed to nearly even the score, making the hp difference a mere 7hp! What will happen? We are soon to find out!
(Editing orders since I assumed Dragon Dance didn't apply anymore, dogfish said it was ok)
INCREDIBLE job Aura!!! This is gonna be a great finish!!! Silly's Dragon Dance isn't wearing out anytime soon, so we have to take the offensive or lose! Silly will hit first, so keep a close eye on how much damage he does, and use Hi Jump Kick if you have more then 9 HP remaining, or Reversal if you have 9 HP or less. Either way, follow it up with Quick Attack to end the match!!! I think. If the batte somehow isn't over, make sure it IS over with another Hi Jump Kick/Reversal.
Hi Jump Kick - Quick Attack - Hi Jump Kick, replace Hi Jump Kick with Reversal if Aura has 9 HP or less
Both pokemon, barely holding on to health, run towards each other in the heat of battle! Silly starts off with a Dragon Claw, barely missing the KO he sorely wanted, leaving Aura with a mere sliver of health! With all his strenght, Aura fires off a Reversal! The sheer power of the move rumbles the entire stage, putting cracks on the floor and causing the floating platforms to collapse! Out of the rubble, Aura stands, the underdog in this battle, victorious over the slain dragon.
Damage and Energy:
Silly:
Dragon Claw: 15 Damage, 13 Energy
Aura:
Reversal : 26 Damage, 12 Energy
Bagon(*) Silly (M)
HP: KO
Energy: KO
Status: n/a
Other: +1 Attack / +1 Speed
Great job Xaq, you had some great Pokemon and I thought you were going to win, you would have if Aura didn't use Counter those two times on Silly. 3HP, what a battle!
Thanks rewindman for the great reffing, you never left us waiting very long and only made one mistake through the entire battle, despite my attempts to mess you up :)
I normally don't comment on battles that aren't mine but WOW THIS BATTLE WAS AMAZING. The climatic turnaround almost made this seem like it was planned. You both battled really well!
