(Art by me, op based on last year's Inktober)​

Inspired by the official Inktober, Smeargle's Inktober introduces a spooky, Pokemon-y twist to the well-known month-long event!

Never heard of Inktober? The idea is simple:
Throughout the month of October, there are 31 prompts
Using the daily prompt, you'll create 31 daily pieces of art!
Draw in nothing but ink!

Whenever you finish a piece, you're more than welcome to share it with the rest of us here! We'll be compiling all entries in this OP each week, in addition to compiling every prompt for the month.


The rules are as follows;

Only post art for the prompt that day (you can make art for the following days if you'd like, but please refrain from posting ahead of schedule!)

While both Digital and Traditional pieces are allowed, please refrain from using color in your pieces! Pixel art is allowed, too, as long as it doesn't use color!

Explore your imagination! These prompts are meant to be vague; use them to your advantage!

This is a cool event... I shall welcome the opportunity to provide my small contributions to the lot. I have actually contemplated getting back into drawing for a long while so this might be the ideal opportunity.

I had not drawn anything in a long while... probably over a decade. I doodled a little Chikorita because it fits very well the theme of Overgrow and it's also my favorite pocket monster... Besides, it's the one I started my journey with, over 20 years ago, so it being the 1st drawing of this batch is even more meaningful. I guess it can be the cousin of the previous post's Meganium. Glad to see some appreciation be given to our Johto lettuce.

This seminary that I am attending for work is not always very interesting, so I welcomed the opportunity to doodle my thing in advance today. Now the Johto trio is complete!

Since that was on my paid time and I have thus been paid for drawing, does this mean that it is my first ever official commission?
