The core of this game is that you are a one man team, with only one goal: survive. If you are one of the final 3 players left in the game, you win. You must team up with other players to eliminate competition and thin the player list, killing others before they can kill you. This is a game of alliances, info control, paranoia and hopefully a lot of dramatic stabbing we can laugh at.

Everyone will start the game with 12 HP, which will protect you from shots aimed at you. Along with this all players will have a standard nightly vigilante shot to shoot at whichever player you so wish to shoot at. Shots deal 3 damage each, under normal circumstances. Note: Sometimes roles have more/less HP and MT (the amount of damage your shot deals) for balancing purposes. The standard is 12/3, though some roles may have different values. This will be a high power game (2 fullblocks is the base role).
Along with your standard, universal vig shot, everyone will also receive a unique role much like normal closed oc. Your role is a set of unique and powerful abilities that you will be able to use to advance yourself in the game. The flavour of these roles will be based after players who played in the recent Bigvivor (icons only).
Signups will be open for about a week and will start a few days after they close. To signup, post something in this thread to let us know (say like 'in' or smth). A Smogon account is required to play as all Role PMs will be sent out on the forums. You will still use Discord to communicate with other players. Actions will be submitted in your Role PMs. No flips, we will just post who died at the end of each night and tag everyone in the thread.

Disclaimer: There may or may not exist alternate win conditions in this game. This is a for-fun EiMM game and isn't meant to be taken super seriously. We will of course make the best attempt to preserve balance and fairness since we still want everyone to have a fair and fun chance at winning but this isn't gonna be as diligently checked and dissected as an 'official' EiMM.
Nevertheless, all of the hosts have extensive experience in playing/hosting EiMM (eli wanted me to mention that he's hosted 10 official EiMMs and checked 5 of them so don't worry he knows what he's doing! yay humble brag eli king but also he won bigvivor so at least he puts his money where his mouth is) so we can at the very least promise that everyone will have an equal chance at winning the game (from a mechanical standpoint). If there's anyone with experience in hosting/checking who'd want to lend a hand with making sure the game isn't totally busted or anything like that, feel free to reach out.
Winners will all get a month of Nitro yay :) or $5 if you prefer that idk

General Rules/Game Etiquette
- Obey all site-wide rules.
- Communication outside the thread is allowed outside of twilight.
- You may not quote mod communication of any kind! This includes moderator-supplied information (either real or fabricated) of any kind. Paraphrasing (for role claims, etc.) is acceptable. Also no screenshotting things
- Prods of missing players will be issued after 24 hours of no activity.
- A prodded player has 24 hours to respond to the prod, after which time a replacement search will begin. The prodded player may re-enter the game so long as no replacement has been found.
- A player who has been prodded 2 times is subject to possible replacement without further notice.
- If you anticipate being unavailable for more than 24 hours please PM. Let me, the host, know.
- I reserve the right to force replace players at my own discretion.
- I left this section in just in case, realistically I probably won't be subbing this game but stay active please!
- Each Day Phase will last 48 hours. Twilight will last about 24 hours.
- There is no night phase
- Extensions are given only in extreme circumstances.
- There are no votes or lynches in this game
- Don't impersonate us. I know I'm famous and everyone is obsessed with me but there can only be one Whydon <3 feel free to impersonate ayia or eli though they're nothing special mwah (JUST KIDDING. don't impersonate them.) No invisible/small/encrypted text is allowed.
- Any situation not explicitly covered above is subject to our discretion and will be handled as we see fit on a case-by-case basis.
