i think it's probably about time we shut the polls & stopped the steal. i shall count the votes henceforth.

thank you all for coming on such a snowy night. it warms my heart to see such enthusiastic participation in our glorious democratic project.
a reminder that the voting system used was instant-runoff, which is why only the top 2 candidates are presented here, and why the percentages don't add up to 100 (since not everyone included these two options in their final ballot). in total, there were 15 legal votes submitted, and only 2 illegitimate ballots (that weren't later verified). we've done an excellent job of keeping those dastardly moderators away from our subforum! i commend you all, my people, for your courage.
anyway, i don't want to wallow in the dying moments of my premiership for too long. it has been my honour to serve you over these last thirteen or so months, and i wish my successor/s well.
the results, to the nearest whole percentage point, are as follows:
total clefairy: 53%
albatross & snak30pra (snake albatross puffle party/sapp): 40%
i'd like to thank you all for re-electing me - your support means everything. i am glad that you have felt my performance thus far to be in line with your vision for a leader, and pledge to continue fighting for you at every juncture.
to my rivals: commiserations. if it means anything, i wouldn't have won in a first-past-the-post system, so you'd have won if this was the uk parliament.

results have been calculated wholly legitimately and presented to the nearest percentage point. the electoral system has been explained in the post. these accusations only serve to harm the strength of our democracy as a whole.
for the record, dorron didn't even bother to vote in the election they're now suddenly so concerned about.

I got busy and missed my vote, thus the revolution is delayed until next year on account of paperwork. And I am personally responsible for TC getting reelected. maybe.
