Smogon Breeding Program....

Who wants the smogon breeding program to come back?

I know it ended,but I think I could revise and edit it a bit,then revive it,and get it working.I'm plenty active,and I usually get at least 1 time to go on the smogon forums everyday,I think I could make it.I'd use most of the same rules,with some better rules,such as redistributing what you bred,etc.

I'd probably need a partner.Who's interested in going back into the program?I'm thinking on 25 trustworthy people,with 3 alternates,and it will be a month long,and there will be probably 2 major trading days,most likely the weekend of the last week of that month.Who thinks it's good?Who think it's bad?Who would think it's a maybe?

I'll get going on a document.I'm having a vote for 1 week,and start it on the 1st week of November,and it'll start on November 2nd.I of course,get a free spot in,and my partner,which will be chosen based on quality,loyalty,trustworthiness,and reliability.
 
I wasn't part of the Breeding Program, but I do believe the whole point of it was to keep it's rarity intact by not redistributing it...

Although I may be interested if you do manage to get it to work somehow.

You probably should have posted this in the Wi-fi forum. Anyways, I like the idea of it being one month long. November is a good month for me, and I might have time to breed. I'm not going to vote just yet though.

EDIT: I was in the first breeding program. We'll need more than 2 days to trade.
 
I swear, when I herd of this fucking thing, it reminded me of communisum sooo much

I agree with the communism part, although I benefited from it...

JK, it was fine; everyone put the same amount of work into breeding. I just don't know if I'll have the time.
 
I was never in the breeding program, but I sure wanted to be. That whole thing about "theme weeks" kind of turned me off to the idea though....
 
I'm not really clear on how this works...

Are you just organizing big trade days? Or is this some sort of group that decides to make new pokemon? or uhhh, neither?

Off the top of my head,

-Thread opens up
-You choose a Pokemon to breed with the designated Iv's your aiming for
-A bunch of other people join in a long until it reaches x capacity/max for the program
-Breed your Pokemon
-Others breed their Pokemon
-You all come together at the end and redistribute your crap amongst each other only

Rinse and repeat for the next week.

Someone care to correct me if I'm wrong, I think I got the basics
 
I would only want it to come back if we were allowed to redistribute our own breeds but no one elses. This way we could all get teh pokemon we bargained for and not have our breeding go to waste.
 
I'd redistribute what I bred in my trading shop,and that's all the redistributing.No one else could redistribute it.I probably would let everyone have a copy of what you bred,regardless,unless they ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY don't want one.That way,you can have some good parents for anything you might want.We might occasionally do themed tiers,or certain lists of pokemon(I'll put like 45-50 pokemon on a list.)

Honestly I don't think their is a way to find a reasonable ending for this. The 'Breeding Program' in my opinion is best suited as a way people who battle have a chance to expand their team fast, rather than for breeders. The ability to redistribute is nice, but we'll just end up going around in circles :O
 
I guess we shouldn't redistribute,I see what you mean Wuddle.But we should give a copy to everyone,but it'll tend to pile up,until they decided they don't want any.I'm cleaning out my boxes tommorow or something.

Well that's a clear must lol. But yeah, just a matter of if anyone is willing to participate in this.

On topic, I would be interested if I weren't so busy now. With AP stuff, I barely have time to play at all anymore during the weekdays. -.-;
 
If you let people redistribute their own bred pokemon, yes. That doesn't mean I'll be participating, but having great new pokemon available for trade is always good.
