SV RU: Floss vs ishtar - well so i guess the breaker's ru starter is out..? ishtar didn't have necessarily the best ru debut last week and Floss has been doing good so I'll give him a solid edge. ishtar does have a way of stealing games out of nowhere though so wouldn't be surprised to see the upset here either
SV NU: Togkey vs Elias PSY - togkey is the queen of bringing some random shit to abuse common cores, which elias has been spamming, so going to give her the edge. I think this game is going to come down to who gets the better matchup as I think they're relatively even players
SV PU: Xiri vs gum - gum's not going to go 1-4 in 2023 PU especially since their most recent losses have been pretty unlucky with hax and unwinnable matchups even though their play has been good

SV UU: pdt vs Lily - I think Lily is going to transition quite nicely to UU after struggling a bit recently in OU as I've always been fond of her UU play. pdt is an amazing player although and his only loss so far is to Punny which is IMO the best player in the pool so this game is going to be really tight. Going to give Lily the edge though as I think she's going to be motivated enough to not end up with a negative record (as long as she brings a check to that demon Hydreigon set)
SV RU: robjr vs TheFranklin - arce is not going 0-5 albeit rob has impressed me a lot with his RU play so far. I think as long as arce brings a solid team with better outs to common RU threats he'll outplay to his first win
SV NU: Danny vs GXE - Danny has played the better games so far I think and I've been more fond of his team choices. GXE's obviously a great player though so this could go either way
SV PU: DugZa vs Mana - Honestly haven't been a fan of what the Spartans have been bringing and although Dugza is 1-3 his games have been a lot closer than what that record makes it seem. He's brought the better teams IMO and realistically should be 3-1 so gonna give him the edge

SV RU: Beraldo vs JustFranco - Beraldo's been steam rolling the RU pool and I don't really see him stopping here
SV NU: Kushalos vs freezai - both Kush and freezai have had some interesting games so far but neither have really impressed me all that much so I'm going to go with the better NU player
SV PU: Mashing vs Chloe - Chloe's been struggling a bit lately (albeit her week 3 game was primarily lost due to luck) and she brought a Dusclops..? last week but yeah I have no reason to believe she'll lose here idek if mashing has played a single PU game like ever
SV LC: Collette vs Elfuseon - Collette's a really good player so it's no surprise that she's starting in LC finally. Machines LC slot is 0-4 and seem to be really struggling so Collete should take this pretty easily here

Nonetheless, gonna pick Marcop here as I think even in a bad MU he'd be able to outplay to a win
SV RU: bb skarm vs ninjadog - Gible's RU has been struggling big time and although skarm hasn't been the best, I've been a bigger fan of what I've seen from him so far
SV NU: watashi vs etern - could go either way but etern has been rock solid this tour so gonna give him a slight edge
SV PU: zS vs S1nn0hC0nfirm3d - love zS but the Ho3 has been preforming really well this tour. However, I think if zS brings a solid team with a good matchup he can def pull off the upset

UU predicts:

(3-1) pdt vs Lily (0-0) - Not really shocking PDT is rocking a good record here. Seems that Lily and Sage have swapped since Sage is 0-3 and Lily is only 2-2 in OU (though she got an unwinnable matchup one week). Sage has prior experience in OU so the swap isn't outrageous. I've been told Lily doesn't have the most impressive UU team tour numbers despite usually dominating in individuals. I will take pdt if he doesn't fuck around too much in the builder.

(2-2) hariyana grande vs umbry (4-0) - No one fucking understands how much hate I got for saying Umbry is the best in the pool. Yes at times she doesn't play well, but she's the best builder here just above Lily imo. And now she's 4-0. Fuck the haters, it's Alyssabry season. Mad props to frankjosh for having an even record in his first big tour though. Genuinely happy he's having success.

(2-2) Accel vs McMeghan (1-2) - I think roro's dominance in this pool got oversold. Yes he's a good player, but he's incredibly out of touch with a highly fluctuating metagame. I also think Accel is one of the most battle intelligent players ever to play UU. His record isn't telling, but I think he bounces back and wins here.

(0-1) tko vs Punny (3-1) - Dynamos are struggling to find a UU slot, having a combined 0-4 record among it's three starters. Punny is one of the most consistently dominant players on the site, and actually has played UU games this year wracking up a typically solid record. I don't see tko winning this one without a fire matchup or performance enhancing drugs.

PU predicts:

(2-2) sensei axew vs Santu (2-2) - for what are two players who were both highly rated on prs, matching 2-2 records is surprising. I think thus far the pool hasn't played very impressively. I would give sensei better odds here. Never been a fan of throwing a good player into a tier they haven't touched. I've seen Santu's teams on ladder several times so I don't think the prep is at an adequate level.

(2-2) Xiri vs gum (1-3) - Both used weird teams last week in my opinion. Xiri got farmed by a player I've never heard of and Gum didn't get the Duggy sweep they planned for. I think Gum is one of the best builders in this tier. But I don't think they have been impressive in their play, and neither has Xiri. 1-4 Gum feels weird so I will lean towards them.

(1-3) DugZa vs Mana (1-2) - Another set of weird records for these players. Dugza has suffered from some huge misplays but also some bad luck. I'm going to take him to win because once again he actually plays this tier, vs Mana who probably got reluctantly slotted in.

(0-0) Mashing vs Chloe (2-2) - Dynamos seem to be having an intense PU crisis since the ban happened. I don't see them winning any games until they sort out a player who can figure out the tier. Chloe gets the edge if she plays well here.
