Being 7-8 on predicts going into this week doesn't look good ngl, but it's surely turning around...

SV UU: Sabella vs Skarpherim Very tough to make a predict here. Sab has looked strong in the UU tours he's played and Skarph has surpassed my expectations so far by being 2-1 after the first 3 weeks. His planning has been very on point so i'll go with him here.
SV UU: Amukamara vs TPP Liam lost last week's game but I trust he'll bounce back here. Having etern's support vs no support is tough.
SV UU: vivalospride vs Punny This will be a fun one to watch, after witnessing Punny and Mossy's heated discussion in the UU cord about Punny's week 3 team. These guys definitely have very different ways of measuring how good a team is. Going with Punny here cause he's kept winning week after week.
SV UU: JustFranco vs Lyssa Why suicune, man... Lyssa's teams have looked better.
SV UU: pdt vs bbeeaa Is this because I finally found god? Is it because of Spellcaster claiming how predictable pdt is in the builder for her to tackle? Who is to say, I'm not sure myself :smogthink:

SV Ubers: M Dragon vs. entrocefalo - I am bolding entro but. M Dragon definitely played super clean last week despite the mu disadvantage. Can go either way.

Lana vs. fade - THE GOAT IS FREED. BANDITS SUPREMACY also pichus was better

Arena Spartans vs. Mt. Silver Foxes
Aberforth vs. 7u9i2 - Aber's had a better season (even beating entro) and I rate his building highly. Also I'm biased.

Technical Machines vs. Uncharted Terrors
Icemaster vs. Reje - Neither have had the greatest seasons but I probably rate Ice higher than Reje, especially since he has Nora support while idk who's supporting Reje.

RichardMillePlain vs. Kate - Ah here we are. Highlight mu. I'm bolding Kate because she's def had a better season than Richard IMO but this can totally go either way.

We introduced COTW this week. It's all in good fun and meant to serve as constructive. As always, feedback is appreciated and thank you for taking the time to listen.

Last week we got 21/38 predicts correct (two subs), so that brings our total ratio to: 56/116. WE'RE ALMOST BACK AT THE APE YEA!!!!!

SV NU Week 4

[BRE] 3d vs watashi [PLA]

Watashi has been the best player in the pool by quite a margin so far. Last week, he showcased a favorite of mine in Banded Breloom, alongside a solid defensive choice in Bellibolt. On top of that improving and solid building, he played well for the third week in a row.

3d, while a known name, hasn't made much of a splash in this generation of NU so far. I don't think Freezai was the issue, but rather the Breakers' understanding of the meta and matchup analysis. Will 3d bring the change needed?

Odds: 35-65

[GIB] tier vs zS [SHO]

zS experienced the first Pom Pom moment of the tour on the losing end. Honestly, not much to say here; I loved the Hera+Munki combo, but we never got to see its potential.

Tier is another sub debuting this week, and I have more faith in him. He’s been active in this generation, doing well in NUPL and participating in NULT, so he’s up to date and a solid player.

Odds: 40-60

[SPA] Thiago Nunes vs Danny [FOX]

Danny is coming off two consecutive weeks with dream matchups. Last week, Whimsicott won the game single-handedly against Zong/Cress/Flygon. He deserves credit for reading his opponent well and bringing the right tools while also piloting solidly.

Nunes was on the winning side of the Pom Pom moment, showcasing a nice Grassy Terrain HO. The Pom Pom +2+2+2 combo is quite ridiculous.

Odds: 45-55

[TMS] Stories vs Elias PSY [TER]

Stories has faced some bad luck for two weeks in a row. Her +2 Cinc was just one paralysis away from preventing rocks, which would have allowed her to maneuver better and avoid losing three mons to Scarf Candy. There are a lot of “what ifs,” but she could easily be 3-0 without it being absurd.

Elias was, well, really Elias this week, using a very comfortable team. His choice to utilize strong and established mons paved the way to victory over Freezai.

I like what I’m seeing from both players; it’s very even at this point in the tour. However, I can’t believe Stories will get haxed a third week in a row.

Odds: 55-45

[ISL] Dr. Phd. BJ vs McMeghan [DYN] GAME OF THE WEEK

BJ lost in a pretty dominant manner to Danny, but his building remains at the top of the tour across all weeks, and his play is still solid. He’s very methodical with a sprinkle of courage, as seen last week with Scarf Milo. I’m curious to see what he preps for Roro—I believe in his bounce back.

At this point, I’m just a believer in Roro’s talent. He’s phenomenal. One more week with another random team using Balloon Dreadmaw, Rocks Uxie, and Sash Endeavor Cincc, and he wins.

This is the game of the week because, despite being a hater of Roro’s builds, it’s really nice to watch him play. He’s the second-best player so far, only behind watashi. BJ is super solid and has an incredible grasp of the meta. How will he deal with Roro’s unpredictability? I’ll bet against Roro’s teambuilding this week; it’s hard to believe he can keep bringing wacky stuff without being punished (but honestly, it seems possible).

Got 6/12 good predicts, including ctc lose and sz win. we Can Say thé machine are completly accurate when there are no unranked people.
