was after time limit of 10pm gmt, therefore my prior act win request should mean I win since you didnt reach out to me until after the time limit

wasnt the deadline gmt? its 10pm EST right now but 10pm gmt sunday would have been 5pm est today, right?
so does that mean i win or not?
it wouldent be if the deadline was gmt not est like it says in the post

what does that mean
GMT-4 is EST, which is when most deadlines on Smogon tend to be. It is currently 10:21 PM GMT-4. Your set was completed prior. You will go to the 0-1 bracket while he will go to the 1-0 bracket.
why not just say EST...
This has been how deadlines have always been set and is one google search away. Also, if you know "GMT" as your posts indicate, then you can simply do the math with -4.
Blaming the tournament organizers for not knowing something is not right. In addition, if you only played after the deadline on the basis that if you lost, which you did, you would try to call it invalid, which you also did, then that standalone is unsportsmanlike. I advise you stop digging your hole deeper and just move on.
I didnt do it on purpose, I just noticed afterwards. also, i wasnt blaming anyone, I was just asking why.
