i'm online and i am texting you both on smogon and psact , opponents profile
Unfortunately if you dont make contact within 15min of the scheduled time, his act claim is solid regardlessi'm online and i am texting you both on smogon and ps
EDIT: My opponent has called act despite me being online and has made no efforts to contact me on ps, smogtours or discord even though I’ve been trying to be visibly active on all of them, once i confronted them about what transpired they are now refusing to chall nor battle me, despite both of us being online and active at the same time on smogtours. I find this behavior highly disrespectful and unsportsmanlike, I don't think that being late for 20/30 minutes (due to an unforeseen emergency) is a reasonable justification for immediately calling activity and doesn't entitle someone to behave this way. I'd also like to point out that there are other priorities in life far more important than playing Pokémon, a thing people don't quite get nowadays![]()
Does that mean I can simply contact my opponent on a platform they aren’t actively using at the moment and then ignore them entirely when they’re online, all just to avoid playing?Unfortunately if you dont make contact within 15min of the scheduled time, his act claim is solid regardless
Contact should always be made in the same place scheduling took place, and ideally it should all be in VMsDoes that mean I can simply contact my opponent on a platform they aren’t actively using at the moment and then ignore them entirely when they’re online, all just to avoid playing?
I kinda agree we should all be responsible for checking our VMs, however, that doesn’t justify avoiding an opponent and preventing the battle from taking place especially when both players are online and clearly available on top of being this disrespectul while being contacted, what happened to the spirit of competition that this place is supposed to foster?Contact should always be made in the same place scheduling took place, and ideally it should all be in VMs
It is on both players to check VMs from there, of course
