Hi I'm a bit new and just recently started following the scene, who/what decides who gets to play in tiebreakers and why these specific tiers are selected?

Current generation OU is always one of the tiers in the tiebreaker, the other two are selected by the teams involved. Each team picks a tier, the lower seed picks first, giving the higher seed an advantage as they already know what the other team has picked.

As to who plays in the tiebreakers the teams decide who their players are for each tier in their team chats and submit them to the TDs, giving us the tiebreaker!
