1 highlight from each series:
BW OU: sensei axew vs dice - Last week I called elodin vs sw the battle for best BW in the pool. Honestly, I don't see either player here as far off either. dice has been basically farming lower ranked players with only 1 game dropped to elodin. Sensei has been quietly playing really high quality games with upsets on Jisoo and watashi (given his 10th place ranking at least). Both players love to go outside the box with the less common weather setters like hippo/aboma so I see a high likelihood of a good game here.
RBY OU: Heroic Troller vs Serpi - Winner gets to be the only 5-1 RBYer left, so yeah we got a battle for best RBYer here. Old(er) school vs modern. Might just be enough to make RBY fun to watch even.
ORAS OU: xray vs Niko - We will see cracked out offense on both sides. One of them is gonna hax the other and complain in chat. The other is going to refute that there was hax. It's gonna get messy and toxic, and be a fun one to watch guaranteed. Plus this is one of the most likely weekday games ive ever seen in a week of SPL so that's another benefit to it. Niko has imo been the best ORAS this season so far and xray is having an uncharacteristically weak season so far, but I see no reason this game isn't close to 5050.
ADV OU: BIHI vs baddummy - Not a lot of stand out games in this series so hopefully this game comes out good. Slight underperformance from what I expected from bihi and a pretty bad season so far from rick. Both have a good chance to turn it around here though.
ADV OU: Conflict vs McMeghan - I think conflict is just the best singles player on the site right now. McM would be most people's pick for that claim though, and rightfully so, but man conflict just cannot Not win. I thought he might flounder at least a bit in ADV given his credential compared to GSC but nope he's been perfect. McM has shown some signs of a bounce back from the rough start but Conflict will be a big obstacle to show he's still deserving of that "best of 2023" title.

Guess ill do some highlights

CTC vs Lax: Former teammates now enemies, great chefs, better battlers, it is guaranteed to be a certified hood classic

Heroic Troller vs Serpi: I have 0 fucking idea about RBY, but from what I know this is history in the making, a dream matchup, might actually watch a 1000000000000000000000 turn RBY game

Leo vs Amaranth: Just pointing out this match because this is the first Leo match in a while, and this is the first amaranth match in the tournament, and when you tell me "Leo vs Amaranth" I'm not exactly thinking BW

Crying vs Hellom: One cooks teams, the other cooks people. A unique challenge for my manager in the "We don't talk about that" Premiere League

Conflict vs McMeghan: Conflict is now weighting the statistical probabilities of Mcm pulling up with a Ninjask team as we speak

Rooting for Raptor, Vileman and Mako, Taka, Hellom and whoever has been nice to me in the last 3–4 months

ORAS thoughts: I really hope we don't see HO mirrors that get decided by who haxed harder. Feel like the tier has so much more to offer than +50% HO usage. But hey I guess it's entertaining to watch.

London beats vs. Seasons - Anything can happen when you see this much HO but I think seasons has the edge.
CBB vs. fade - Probability is not corrective but I suspect CBB finally catches a break from lady luck. Although I wouldn't be surprised if fade clutches.
xray vs. Niko - Niko is great but xray does xray things.
Lusa vs. pj - Feel like the HO meta rn favors pj
Santu vs. Gondra - Santu is too consistent imo

May the more creative builders win!
