Dear Vooper, you are aligned with town. You win when all threats to town have been destroyed.
Only 3 players in the game matter to you: yourself, hal and whoever hal tells you to vote. This is how mafia is played, your alignment doesn’t matter, it is the optimal strategy. Fact. You are lucky that this game is rewinding the whole year, because if it was just recent games you sure as hell wouldn’t be in it. But I guess all of that is just theory, because here you are!
You are a three way joat who’s actions involve you, your shepherd and whoever your shepherd wants to mess with:
Three way rogue: target two players, all actions except this one will fail if they come from any of the players in the triangle and target another player in the triangle.
Redirector: redirect player A’s actions to player B
Deflector: deflect actions on target A to target B, does not work on factional kill

You are a good player who often gets a bit fucked over by their woat tier timezone, resulting in you getting lynched more often than you probably deserve. This game, we will not let that happen! You have access to a two-shot hammer-disabler. Twice in the game, you may privately pm me, the host requesting the hammer to be disabled for the rest of the day.
You have mentioned about how you feel people don’t often listen to what you say, and you wish people would listen to you reads more often. This time, you don’t need them to because even if they vote you , you can still kill your scumreads! You are a vengeful. One of, if not the most influential player of this year on smogon. 2019 saw the rise (and perhaps fall?) of the apricitarmy. You are used to getting your own way. Regardless of your alignment, you often decide the lynch with your countless sheep in games. This is not without good cause, your reads are accurate and your poe’s have often won games, or eh, would have if town didn’t throw I guess…
You are a modified mayor, you have a second vote which will be recorded as “sheep” on vote counts. This will be treated as an extra player in the game for purposes such as hammers and vote counts. You may control this vote anonymously by pming me, the host. While “sheep” is not voting, it will not be displayed on the votecount and treated as not in the game.

You have a reputation for tunneling players as town, and this game it is time to take it to a completely new level. You are a gladiator. Nope, not a one-shot gladiator, just a plain old gladiator. You can tunnel to your heart's content as you gladiate someone once every day!
However, because you are the best player in this game, you are aware that your greatest strength is also your greatest witness. While you could easily win any 1v1, sometimes it is best to spare your opponent. You may once daily disable your gladiate, meaning that normal voting arrangements will be reset and restored.

You are one of the most underrated players on smogon. Well actually most people consider you good, so I am not sure if that is true, but you definitely aren’t given enough credit in my opinion! When you turn up to a game, your opponent should beware because you can be truly impressive as either alignment, skilled at solving and avoiding lynches. The biggest flaw in your game is that sometimes you don’t try as much as other people, but I am not sure if spending too little time on an internet forum game can actually be considered a flaw.
Since your reads have been so accurate of late, you are getting an important role for town, you are the 2-shot vig.

Ok, probably not the first person who comes to mind when you think “smogon mafia”, but you were one of the most active technically, so in you go! You are infamous for spamming the thread and maybe fillering just a bit more than some people appreciate, whoops! I am going to do you a favour to get you out of the thread, and make you a neighbourizer. Hopefully you won’t have to spam so much anymore.
Every night you may add someone to a neighbourhood, where you may talk to them privately throughout the game. You may create as many neighbourhoods as you want throughout the game, but may only add one person per night total to one neighbourhood.

You play different to many of the well known players on smogon, with a more bare bones style. I used to think this would be ineffective and out you when you roll scum during my naive, early smogon days but you ended up using it to dominate in reinforcements and carry scum team, so I’m an idiot I guess. Your style is probably one of the most recognizable on smogon, not feeling the need to be in thread as often as other players and being confident in your votes without feeling the need to justify them. You are town hider 2-shot. This means you must target a player at night. If successful, you will be immune from kills tonight. However, if the person you target dies, you will also die.
Alongside this, you also have a flavour cop. I don’t really have any justification for why this needs to be a thing, but I thought it would be cool to give it to someone. You will learn who your target is playing as.

There have been cases where you have been pretty active like matrix 2, but unfortunately this is not a regular occurence and I simply have to base your role on this :( Because you tend to not be the most active, I am going to let you influence others to do the same as yourself. I will probably try do a post game on this one because there were several moments I actually wanted to remark on stuff, also it being kind of a landmark game (in my head at least) to celebrate the year. It might be a bit before it is up though.

idk i think town played pretty well as a whole my disregard for certain particular reads and 1v1s aside
lot of people were good at obvtowning so it made it easy to find them
