Smogon Simple Questions Thread

What is the easiest way to keep up with all of the tournaments/events going on across the site? I know where to find the official Smogon schedule, but am not really sure how to keep up with things beyond that, especially for unofficial events. I really want to get more involved this year and am struggling with the forum format, I think (it's been over a decade since I was active on a web forum like this one)

Hope I'm asking this in the right thread :woo:

Most tiers will have their tournament schedule in a thread. For example, here is the schedule for the UU Circuit

On our discord we have a tour-news channel, that you can subscribe to, that announces when signups open for a lot of tournaments. I don't think we have any forum resources that do the same job, unfortunately.
 
Is there a comprehensive guide on how to get sprites from using text commands? If that doesnt' make sense what I mean is using this

I'm aware of at least these ways, and even know the workaround of using

to directly grab from showdown's sprite directory, but that method is less convenient as it requires the extremely laborious task of digging through an easily-navigable series of menus to grab a link and then drag my cursor back to smogon dot com to paste said link. So I'm wondering if there's a guide out there that lists in simple terms every possible way to get sprites on forums thru text?
