The Competitive Tutoring room on Pokémon Showdown should work, just post your team with your questions and if someone's available to help they will.
How do I put a message under my name like Finchinator with his "It's Fink dumbass"? I've seen non-badgeholders do it.
Non badgeholders cant do that themselves, you need an smod to give it to you. Basically you cant have it unless you have a badge or good connections
Some non-badge holders may previously have been badgeholders and the title doesn't go away should your badge be removed iirc
If a pokemon receives a very small amount of usage (around 1% iirc) it can "quickdrop" to a lower tier in between tiering months. This will probably happen to some of the new megas.

where do you go to make a group chat into a room?
If you are referring to group chats on PS, then you must be a Room Driver in a public room (%) or Global Voice and up.
