Chapter 5: Dynamax Apocalypse
Mis Isle flew around in circles nervously and clutched her Choice Specs, remembering her training. Dragoth floated behind her. Next to them sat a meek looking Weavile, a confident Primarina, Rotom and a Ditto named . They were surrounded by makeshift fortifications and a number of storage tents. Malachite spoke up and reminded them: "This is our first time fighting the Dynamax pokemon. Let's not be too reckless. They're very resilient and fast."
After a few minutes of waiting, they started to hear a terrifying whooshing sound in the distance. They all jumped to attention. Rotom looked ahead through his binoculars and recoiled in fear. "It's Gyarados!", he mouthed. They all jumped to their feet and prepared to fight. A few moments later, Gyarados crashed into Rotom at high speed, nailing him with a giant grass type move. He moved on and struck Dragoth at high speed , knocking him out. Mis Isle fired a thunderbolt at him. He ate a Wacan berry and shrugged off the attack.
Ditto then transformed into the giant dragon like creature, copying it's blinding speed and amazing size. Malachite directed him to strike the real Gyarados. The weakened monster went down in a single strike. The rest of Gyarados's Hyper Offensive teamates had arrived. Halcon then flew in and activated his grassy seed. He was accompanied by Togekiss, Galarian Darmanitan, an opposing Dragapult and a Kommo-O. Ditto flew ahead and smashed into the Darmanitan, knocking him out. The rest of the group was shocked, but Halcon responded and knocked Ditto out with a frighteningly fast Thunder Punch. He beckoned his remaining soldiers to attack.
A number of their allies led by Blob had arrived. Among their ranks were Toxapex, Cinderace, Crawdaunt, Ferrothorn and many more. The battle had begun in earnest by now.
