It is time once more for arguably the most popular and unarguably the best tournament on Smogon: Smogon Tour. This will be our 35th season, and the first one of the 9th generation!!! We will also feature some new times, including a fourth weekly tournament, to try and cater to a larger base of players!

Smogon Tour is a series of live tournaments starting on Friday, March 10th at 8pm GMT-5. The format is the same as usual, consisting of the three most recent OU generations (SV OU, SS OU and SM OU respectively). The live tournaments will last 9 weeks -- constituting the regular season -- where everyone will earn a certain amount of points according to their weekly performances. Once this phase is over, we'll move to playoffs with the 16 best performers from the regular season. The winner of the Smogon Tour will obtain the glorious Pink Trophy

As usual, all the tournaments will take place on the SmogTours server, unless stated otherwise. The times at which they will start are as follow:
  • 8 pm EST (GMT-5 currently) on Fridays
  • 6 am EST on Saturdays
  • 4 pm EST on Saturdays
  • 1 pm EST on Sundays
Please note that EST shifts to GMT-4 on this Sunday the 12th.
WEEK 1 - SV OU
  • Friday, March 10th @ 8 pm EST (GMT-5)
  • Saturday, March 11th @ 6 am EST (GMT -5)
  • Saturday, March 11th @ 4 pm EST (GMT -5)
  • Sunday, March 12th @ 1 pm EST (GMT-4 -- please note that the clocks change on this day)
WEEK 2 - SS OU
  • Friday, March 17th @ 8 pm EST (GMT-4)
  • Saturday, March 18th @ 6 am EST (GMT -4)
  • Saturday, March 18th @ 4 pm EST (GMT -4)
  • Sunday, March 19th @ 1 pm EST (GMT -4)
WEEK 3 - SM OU
  • Friday, March 24th @ 8 pm EST (GMT -4)
  • Saturday, March 25th @ 6 am EST (GMT-4)
  • Saturday, March 25th @ 4 pm EST (GMT -4)
  • Sunday, March 26th @ 1 pm EST (GMT -4)
Remember that you can still only join two tours per week (not three or all four) and your best score each week counts towards the standings only (not both scores). Players caught joining three or four tours in one week will be disqualified and docked points the first time; repeat offenders will be banned for the rest of the season. You cannot make a new account to circumvent the rule either. Standard tournament rules all apply so keep in mind that asking for wins, offering wins, throwing games or interfering in other people's battles (ghosting them or their opponent) is strictly prohibited. You are not allowed to insult your opponent, spectators or the host either, so please be a decent human being -- it is not hard whatsoever. If you do any of the things mentioned in this paragraph, be prepared to get infracted and potentially banned from our Tournaments. We will take retroactive actions if needed.
