Thanks to those who helped and supported, always appreciate you guys. Stay safe everyone, wear your masks!

On a personal note, it's no surprise (at least to those close to me) that this season was not nearly as enjoyable as the others for me. Qualifying alone became a burden on my time and honestly my health -- as if I am not angry enough already :blobtriumph:, sorta left me questioning if I am even doing this for me or because people expect me to. Playoffs and prep are always fun for me though, which is a plus. I'll probably? be back next season out of sheer addiction and hopefulness to fulfill the "FINCHTOURXX" meme for once and for all because I know I am good enough, but I can't imagine I last many more seasons. It's really amazing seeing some relatively newer faces in these playoffs though, hopefully bringing a new wave of OU talent into the mix. Between my brothers on NE, all of the fresh faces who qualified, and obvious favorites like SoulWind himself, we're bound to have an amazing winner here. Good luck everyone, looking forward to seeing it all.
 
Your resiliency are both inspiring and commendable, Finch. Addiction aside, I understand all too well how difficult it is to give up when you’ve come so close to winning it all. Hell if I didn’t win OST, I would most likely still be on here 24/7 playing this brain-cell-destroying game until I win it all or until Smogon implodes or until I become an old hag and can’t click with my fingers anymore. I hope you stay competitive and continue to put in the effort until a trophy is lifted.

There isn’t anything fun about putting in the time week after week to make the playoffs only to come out short. It isn’t fun prepping for games, testing on the ladder, and building teams either. Pokemon is exhausting. Anyone who plays this game seriously at one point or another can attest to that. It’s a lot easier and more fun to browse PornHub and beat one out instead.
