Really fun game, and the closest of the three matches. I brought a Shiftry team that I thought matched up really well vs. Deo-S and Custap Forry HO, as well as rain balance, but Toxic Spikes was always gonna be an issue. On a more defense team most of my team easily pressures Tenta besides Ghosty, but a fast Tenta on offense I had no delusions of keeping them off. He got a meaningless crit on Genesect that really didn't matter much and I got a clutch crit on Ghostceus to set up a 50/50, which I won. Both teams were a lot of fun, and Steelphoenix, Shiftry HO needs fucking Latias bc without Spikes, Scarf Kyogre can roll right through otherwise.

Awful game, I got a really favorable lead match-up but Omastar (lel) wound up setting spikes everywhere and Dialga just crit everything. Misplayed vs. his Latias, I knew he wouldn't have HP Fire but did not expect Surf so I thought it was a free Pursuit.

Fun game, I was simply outplayed & should have been smarter with CM Waterceus. Turn 3 sucked as I figured I had a 50/50 chance of killing something but guessed wrong. Thanks for the team Skitty, haven't played XY in ages and suck at the tier anyway so I apologize for any misplays.

as the host of this tournament i hereby anoint sweep SMOGON'S UBERSTAR. truly a deserving winner if there ever was one :)

now someone lock this so i can blot it out of my memory, it's entirely on me that this tour wasted into torpor and i feel profoundly embarrassed to have been such a massive lazybones ;_;

please hold on to the Gengar and Xern analyses for me (thank you for having done so thus far), i will do them by this week i swear
