Other Smogon Yu-Gi-Oh! Goat Format Tournament

Approved by a fairy

Goat Format is the format played that was played in the Summer of 2005. It gets its name from the popularity of the card Scapegoat during this time period. It is one of the two most popular retro Yu-Gi-Oh! formats still played today. Simple and yet still rich in variety goat format plays completely different to current YGO since the games actually take a few turns to finish usually. Here I will be attempting to host a typical smogon-style tournament where players play 1 match per week, but use a different simulator to play a different game.

:psynervous:

Tournament Rules:
1. All players must carefully familiarise themselves with the goat format Rules and follow the rules carefully.
2. If there is a dispute in terms of rulings, refer to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki, ask in the goatformat Discord, or if you cannot come to a conclusion, call a judge on duelingbook to rule for you.
3. Games will be played on duelingbook.com.
4. You may use a different Deck every single week.
5. The tournament is double elimination knockout, played in Matches (not Duels!) ie. best of three. There will be one match per week.
Please post the replay of your match to get the win!!
