Welcome to the fourth edition of the Sun & Moon Premier League! This thread is for the signups for those who wish to manage in the tour. Information about the tournament can be found in the SM OU Discord server. The hosts for this edition of SMPL are mason, Zcarlett and Lialiabeast.

There will be 8 teams for this tournament.
When signing up, YOU MUST SIGN UP WITH AN ASSISTANT MANAGER and state who they are. ONLY ONE OF THE TWO MANAGERS will be able to purchase themselves for 15k credits prior to the draft if they wish to do so.

Managers will be chosen based on experience in SM tournaments, their level of involvement in the community and knowledge of the playerbase, their general competence, and prowess in managing in other high level tournaments in other tiers. If you do sign up, it would be worth explaining why you and your assistant manager would be good picks with relation to the above criteria.

I've managed multiple old gen PLs to playoffs, and managed this tour to playoffs last year doing a majority of the work and prepping basically every slot + testing. Hacker is a Gen 7 aficionado with good results across SM tiers, going positive in OU, UU, RU, NU, and PU across the past year. We both have plenty of experience in team tours and as managers.

With unmatched dedication I am / have managed: ADPL, RoAPL, BWWC, LCPL and a bunch of other tours featuring SM such as OUFL/NUFL. I've also been in the majority of lower tier, generational or OU teamtours that feature SM as a whole. zinnias has been a face in SM for a long time as a player but has new showings as a manager most recently making playoffs in masters league. They have also shown more commitment to the tier, community & forums than anyone else on this site. We will draft a team with spirit and energy like we always have.

The Phantom Troupe are rebranding to Raging Reshirams and making a comeback this SMPL with me and Devin - He is a returning manager and has also managed several tours like BLT and World Cup and played in tours like SPL as well. I won SMPL last time as player, shadow managed and helped to prep every slot. It is also the gen which I have played the most having gone positive in tours which include SM OU and I also have knowledge of SM Ubers and SM RU having reached finals in RUPL. I have also managed BKCPL and a few other discord team tours and am managing Masters PL currently which features SM OU where we are currently in the finals. Both Me and Devin have good knowledge about the player base and the lower tiers and we promise to draft a strong team with a good team environment, we have worked together in the past with him as a manager for BLT and me as a player for his team so we understand each other. Suzuya has recently managed Uber PL and French PL, and also managed SMPL last year. I’ve been playing SM OU for a couple of years and also participated in the last SPL in SM. In addition, I’ve managed German PL one time as well as Team Austria in the WCOP Qualifier for the past two years.

Team Name: Slugma and Moon
Baddy won the most recent SM Grand Slam and is currently in the tiebreaker for Smogon Tour, getting most of his points in SM. He has knowledge of all SM tiers except LC, where I can contribute to the team. We both have manager experience, having won tournaments together as player and manager. A current example would be Baddy’s team making ADPL finals and me reaching the main stage of WCoP with team Netherlands.

I've managed 30+ tours on this site and made playoffs in all but a few, including managing SMPL last year where we ended just on the cusp of playoffs. I've gone positive playing SM OU, NU and LC in tours before and have also dabbled in SM Ubers, PU and DOU. Kustavan is playing SM OU in World Cup and won SM Rising Stars. He has also managed tours to playoffs before, such as ADPL where his team is currently in semis tiebreak and mine is in finals.

me and pj both are active members for smogon community. We both have knowledge of SM tiers. My involvement with monotype will also be useful as new slot for monotype has been added in this iteration of SMPL. I have managed WCOP this year for team Asia. I had gotten more knowledge of the tier from people like Empo, devin and Crystal Lynn. I am active and can support in all slots well. Pj has been consistently playing SM and ORAS. His team also won SPL this year. He has been playing SPL and WCOPs for quite a while now. He has played SM in OUPL, HPL and other tours and has experience in SM tiers and can also support team well. He is also SMPL II champion. We both will work togather to make a great SMPL team and foster great team enviroment.

I have managed quite a lot of tours such as SMPL Solomods PL NDWC OGPL Masters League and also UMBD (barely missed poffs) etc and have been an active member who participated in most of the OU tours. Other than these, I have managed several discord tournaments such as ISTT BTWC etc. I have also qualified and made it till top 8 of OU circuit and won OU last chance qualifiers this year and have played many team tours inside and outside of the tier. I also managed last yr SMPL and barely missed poffs. Bleach on the other hand has managed many official level tours like SSPL 2 seasons and making finals of both ss and oraspl last yr and also managing ADPL and performing rly well. They r also one of the best players on the site for fairy gens and also won SPL and SCL. After barely missing poffs last yr, we r back to get he title!
