In-Depth Team
386_s.gif

Deoxys-S @ Focus Sash
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 (Spd) 76 (SpAtk) 180 (Atk)
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
-StealthRock
-Spikes
-Icebeam
-Superpower

This is my lead for to 2 main purposes suprise KOs and Hazards. The reason i invested in SpAtk is so that Icebeam can hit hard. The Focus Sash is here for 2 reasons to keep deoxys alive for a extra layer of spikes or to use him as a death fodder later on. Ok let me say one word beast ever since i put these changes on him i feel like he is an attacker most of the time. This guy is amazing.

612.gif

Haxorus @ ChoiceScarf
Trait: Rivarly
EVs 252 (Atk) 252 (Spd) 4 (HP)
Adamant Nature (-SpAtk, +Atk)
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-BrickBreak
-Dual Chop

This is my physical sweeper and he does a great job at it. I can't tell you how many people think he is ChoiceBanded and think they will out speed him. His Atk Power is already so high it didn't make sense o me to make him a slow big hittter. This thing always takes 2 to 3 enemies with him. Outrage is here for that STAB overpowered move. Earthquake is to hit steel types mainly lucario who think they gonna stop him. BrickBreak to hit dark steel and rock hard mainly T-Tar not much decided to add Dual Chop to hit ppl who like to set up substitutes.

392.gif

Infernape @ AirBalloon
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 (SpAtk) 252 (Spd) 4 (Atk)
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SpDef)
-Hidden Power (Ice)
-Flamethrower
-Grass Knot
-Close Combat

Ok you guys helping me out with him was awesome he is much more effective now. CloseCombat is here to hit special walls hard and is great at breaking the core SkarmBliss which i have seen alot. Hidden Power Ice to hit dragon types who think they can wall me. Grass Knot gets me alot of KOs on Grass types which is always good.

205.gif

Ferrathorn @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 (Def) 252 (HP) 4 (SpDef)
Impish Nature (-SpAtk, +Def)
-RapidSpin
-Volt Switch
-Protect
-Toxic Spikes

The New Forretress is great he helps out way more with toxicspikes than with toxic and now i can get him out with volt switch so no more magnet pull problems and Rapid spin to keep hazards away and Protect for a free leftover turn or to scout.

242.gif

Blissey @ Leftovers
Trait: Natrual Cure
EVs: 252 (SpDef) 252 (HP) 4(Spd)
Calm Nature (-Atk, +SpDef)
-HealBell
-Toxic
-Wish
-Seismic Toss

My Blob has changed she now is more awesome!!! i changed softboiled to wish so she can help the whole team even more and toxic and seismic toss stayed because my team likes em and they help alot

94.gif

Gengar @ BlackSludge
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 (Spd) 252 (SpAtk) 4 (HP)
Timid Nature (-Atk, +Spd)
-Substitute
-Disable
-Focus Blast
-ShadowBall

Ok my spin blocker and supporter got a new move as well FOCUS BLAST!!!!!! He now hits pokemon like T-Tar Harder and more effective. His job is still the same spin block and support.

Threat list coming soon and changes will be in bold thanx for reading

The team seems decent, but I highly recommend you do these changes:

  • Run a spread of 180 Atk / 76 SpA / 252 Spe Lonely on Deoxys-S, so it can OHKO 252 HP / 0 Def non-Chople Tyranitar leads and still neting the OHKO on 252 HP / 0 SpD Gliscor, and use a moveset of Stealth Rock / Spikes / Superpower / Ice Beam.
  • Haxorus wants a spread of 252 Spe / 252 Atk / 4 HP Jolly, and Dual Chop over X-scissor, since it needs the speed to outrun certain threats that Adamant can't; X-scissor is pretty useless, since Outrage hits everything harder than it anyways and Dual Chop can hit Substitute users such as Breloom or Gengar.
  • Using Mixed Infernape (252 Spe / 252 Atk / 4 SpA with Overheat / Close Combat / U-turn / Hidden Power Ice or Grass Knot) would be better than your current set in my opinion, since it can break through defensive cores that are annoying for this team, such as SkarmBliss.
  • I recommend you also change Forretress' moveset to Rapid Spin / Gyro Ball / Volt Switch / Filler, since it's more effective and can keep momentum with Volt Switch.
  • Blissey should always run 252 Defense EVs, in order to survive stuff like Defensive Tyranitar's Crunch or random Psyshocks.
  • Gengar should run Focus Blast over Icy Wind to hit Steel types and Tyranitar.
Good luck!

I usually carry 252 Atk 252 Spd Adamant, for some 2HKO (Ferrothorn, Tyranitar etc.), with both Spikes and Stealth Rock

612.gif

Rivalry should be great as boosts its already sky-high Attack. Mold Breaker is helpful, though

392.gif

I don't like Infernape, as there is Nasty Plot Vacuum Wave Lucario, but anyway, i guess it's ok

205.gif

Toxic Spikes > Toxic, of course. Then, the spread should be more SpDef-orientated

242.gif

Wish > Softboiled can help your team a lot, especially Haxorus. In this case, Heal Bell > Aromatherapy (exactly the same effect)

Icy Wind sucks, try Focus Blast, Pain Split or Will-O-Wisp

I dont care how many special defensive EV's you put into Forretress, its still going to die to a fire blast. You have a blissey, there is no reason to make forret fatter specially.

I would change the move set to something like this:

-Toxic Spikes
-Rapid Spin
-Volt Switch / Gyro Ball
-Gyro Ball / protect

I'd also recommend changing the nature to Relaxed, and 0 spd EV's to maximize Gyro Balls damage. "But forretress is shit offensively, and wont be doing damage anyways." Completely true, but he's shittier speed wise, so you may as well capitalize one.

Mad Props for using Infernape, I love it. However, some one else said it, NP lucario exists - and to be honest, your set is just an inferior NP Luc. What was so great about NaPe was that Skarmbliss couldn't wall it. And that's still it's niche this gen - that it has few true counter. I'd suggest something like Close Combat over Vaccum wave.

While it will make you more susceptible to revenge killing without a priority move, it also makes Nape a hell of a lot less wallable. If you're worried about an apposing mon killing you when you fail to OHKO, well then lets be honest here: if you're not OHKOing after a NP with Flamethrower with *full* hazards on the field (or hell, even just the rocks and 1 layer Deo-S garuntees) then you definitely have a problem some where, and it isn't the set's fault. Additionally, your team can handle threats like terrakion a hell of a lot better than you could, say Blissey or Ttar, since your only physical attack is a choice-locked Haxorus, who no one would leave their special wall in against. Lastly, concider HP ice or Grass knot (or even HP grass, if you want a more consistent attack) over HP electric. They all have their uses, but hit different walls.
