Son of a Balthazar!

Hello again everyone with another RMT! So I loved the feedback from MetaNite but I've looked the team over and I know it was really solid bit it seemed to not have enough creativity. I realize I nitpick a lot looking for perfection but now *I'm rebuilding the team to be even more exciting and possibly more competitive so here we go!

Team building process:

Spr_4h_149.png

So we start again with dragonite but this time he will start as a mixnite but *obviously different moves then last time.

Next I wanted to try a different steel psychic that could set up stealth rock and also be different than metagross.

This time the third member of the core is heatran because I wanted a mon with hp ice for dragons gunning for Dnite, earth power plus flash fire for dangerous fire mons against Bronz, and I simply felt he could help make a better core.

Next I wanted to bring back Breloom but update his moves after viewing some variations that don't use focus punch.

Up next I felt the need for a jellyfish that was bulky like dear old tentacruel but had the taunt power of gliscor so jellicent became part of the group.

Last I still wanted to have terrakion around as a check to flying and psychic types and the like.

replaced jellicent with gastrodon! I finally get a decent ground/water that can also use recover and I can never say no to a recovery move.

So there's the new team let's go see their builds!

Dragonite.jpg

Dragonite:
Nature: rash
Evs:92sp atk/ 200atk/ 218 spe
Trait: multiscale
Item: leftovers
Moveset:
Extremespeed
Outrage
Roost
Fire blast

I've kept this mixnite but decided to add fire blast for the sp atk side and extremespeed to score some decisive ko's when I really need them.

Ding_dong_shiny_Bronzong_by_blackmoonrose13.jpg

Bronzong:
Trait: levitate
Item: macho brace
Evs: 252 HP/40 Attack/100 SP defense/118 defense
Nature: sassy
Moveset:
Trick
Stealth rock
Gyro ball
Earthquake

Bronzong makes for a wonderful entry hazard guy and I also chose him for being able to use trick. Trade a macho brace and make someone slow and take the advantage! He is also here to take thunderwaves that I do not want anywhere else on my team since with thunderwave making him slower gyro ball gets better!

heatran.png

Heatran:
Trait: flash fire
Nature: timid
Item: choice scarf
Evs:252spatk/ 252spe/ 4 spD
Moveset:
Dragon pulse
Fire blast
Hidden power fighting
Earth power

A standard heatran but his set works so well for what I need! Heatran takes care of my dragon problems and loves to take fire moves to cover bronzong. And dragon pulse for better power against haxours

180px-286Breloom.png

Breloom:
Nature: jolly
Trait: poison heal
Item: toxic orb
Evs:252atk/ 252spe/ 4hp
Moveset:
Seed bomb
Spore
Facade
Superpower

This time around I decided no more hiding for breloom I wanted to try his all out attack set. Facade in particular seems the most logical with toxic orb. Stab seed bomb and superpower for his usual tools and no one can forget the broken spore!

Spr_5b_423.png

Gastrodon
item: leftovers
Nature: calm
Ability : Storm Drain
EVs : 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
-Surf
-Toxic
-Ice Beam
-Recover

replacing jellicent is gastrodon! I think I like this best because
it reminds me of swampert. Has ice beam for more defense against flying and the bulk to help out against rotom w plus it keeps recovery! Toxic is my new status maker
which can help against evil grass types
.

Terrakion.png

Terrakion:
Nature: jolly
Trait: justice heart
Item: choice band
Evs:252 spe/248 atk/ 8 def
Moveset:
Close combat
Stone edge
xscissor
earthquake

This time I wanted an all out terrakion as well. Besides it's usual stab moves I added eq an xscissor for added ground and psychic coverage.

So there is the new team I hope it's a good combination and a solid core.*
(some of my images are not working but I'll fix it a little later!)

Threat list so far:(it's small but it will be expanded soon)
Lucario: depending if it's np or regular I'll probably leave it to hetrans or Dnites fire blast.

Politoed: breloom can speed in and spore it then follow with seed bomb.

Ninetales: terrakion or gastrodon can deal with this one. Not so worried since all most teams want it for is it's drought ability so stoGastrodon
ne edge, eq, or surf could work.

Scizor: bronzongs bulk and eq can slow it down or have someone use fire blast.

Thundurus: terrakions stone edge or Dnites meteor is the way to go. The sooner this genie is gone the better.

Jirachi: cm or protect variant this thing is a nuisance. Explosion or earth power and get rid of the star fish.

Salamence: this is why heatran has hp ice. Hopefully bronzong tricks it to slow it down and let heatran ice him.

Haxorus: this thing might scare me more if I was running substitute but since I'm not either heatran or Dnite will stop it.

Rotom w: might be dangerous for breloom to seed bomb it so I'll let bronzong mess around to use trick before it does them slide on a gyro ball and let breloom finish. Gastrodon is also the beat option now since it takes care of
both rotoms stab.

Heatran: gastrodon takes the stage here now. His bulk and surf makes it easier than having only WoW to take on this beast. I do not feel like fueling the fire!

Gengar: twould be safer let terrakion use xscissor.

Ferrothorn: fire blast all they way. More likely from Dnite.

Deoxys s: nasty set up guy and will probably be fed to terrakion or Dnite. Don't want him setting up stealth rock before i do.

Hope you all liked reading this and let the rating begin!

Good team but with Dragonite you want to run more than just extreame speed for physical attacks and you might want dragon dance

Hmm dragon dance? My Dnite used to have DD but it was replaced
to make him more of a mixnite. I'm not I'm oppsed to the idea because besides the new hone claws DD is my favorite dial stat boosting move. Do you think I should replace Draco meteor for outrage instead?

Explosion got nerfed! As in banned? Does this mean I have to take it off of both heatran and bronzong? D:

Ohhh well then I could definitely replace it on heatran but I'll keep it on bronzong unless I should get rid of it entirely? However is dragon pulse the only option? I usaly suggest hidden power ice over dragon pulse on other heatran sets.

Hey there,

You have a pretty cool team, good job. However, your team can't take Rotom-W's assaults in rain. Bronzong is a pretty cool guy indeed, but it will take heavy damage from Hydro Pump, and to an extent, Thunder. Breloom will be hitted hard by Hydro Pump, since it is really frail and the move has an absurd 135 base power, factoring STAB, Rain and resist. Dragonite doesn't resist Thunder either and a lot of Rotom also pack Hidden Power Ice to hit Dragons. A quick option would be changing Bronzong for Ferrothorn, but it also leaves you vulnerable to Excadrill, another deadly sweeper. Maybe you should change Jellicent for a Gastrodon? The Ground typing really helps, while keeping Jellicent's bulk. Its only weakness is also covered by Breloom and Heatran, which means you won't have any changes to make. Here is what you should use :

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Calm Nature
Ability : Storm Drain
EVs : 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
-Surf (Scald if you like burn, but it has bad synergy with Toxic)
-Toxic
-Ice Beam ( You can use Hidden Power Electric if you want to OHKO Gyarados)
-Recover

Another thing you should consider is replacing Iron Ball on Bronzong with the Macho Brace. Iron Ball makes you vulnerable to Ground moves, which isn't really a good asset considering you're using Levitate. Macho Brace lowers your speed but doesn't have that really bad side effect (if you want to counter Excadrill). Also, Jolly is probably a better nature for Terrakion, since its speed is really high (base 108), you will need a Jolly nature in order to outspeed base 100 like Salamence and Zapdos (though it's not used a lot), and you can also tie with Infernape and Virizion with Jolly.

Ohhh I really like where your going! I would be happy to use gastrodon as I have sorely missed having a ground/water on my side. Ever since swampert dropped in popularity I had been eyeing gastrodon thanks for the set! Also thank your for pointing out the iron ball problem I should definitely change that. And yes terrakion should be jolly I like speed more than anything

it never hurts to have both outrage and Meteor. Sure you are double typing but it gives STAB on both ends of offense. Or maybe replace Roost with Earthquake.

Bronzong doesnt need that much Attack to do some damage with Gyro Ball, give it 40 Attack EVs and invest in something else. His EV spread looks pretty awk right now,try this:
252 HP 40 Attack 100 SP defense 118 defense if you are running Sassy

Have you considered a Dual Screen Bronzong? This team is quite offensive and may need screen support.

The rest of the team looks fine.

Hmm you know I've always fancied the idea of a dual screener. I could definitely lose explosion seeing as I've been informed it's no longer viable. I could also lose eq and make bronzong almost full utility. Thanks for the ev spread! As for Dnite i'm a bit partial to roost but I may just swith meteor for outrage. Better to be confused in three turns than to take a dive in sp atk

Well the idea was to use Draco Meteor then spam outrage since the Special Attack drop wouldn't matter then. Bronzing was basically made for Utility, but you might want to have something for Taunt, like a White Herb, but generally Light Clay is superior.

Ohhh I gotcha well then I shall consider it for testing. I dont want to lose stealth rock from bronzong but I guess i could lose trick. A new moveset might be

stealth rock/ light screen/ reflect/ gyro ball?

Also I put roar on heatran to add some musical chair shennanigans and accumulate more stealth rock damage

That sounds like a good set. Exactly what I use but with TR and no rocks.
Picking an item is gonna be tough though. The 3 viable ones I can think of are Light Clay,Macho Brace and White Herb.

I know lol. I'm decideding between light clay and macho brace. I want his gyro ball to be powerful but i also want light clay to make my screens last longer.

i dont think u need screens very much since ur team doesnt need a lot of setting up. i like ur current bronzong set since it is good at countering excadrill, which could be a problem for ur team. heatran &terrekion will be outsped and OHKOed. but if you trick machobrace, it will be slow enough for ur team to handle it.
also for dragonite, u might want to keep roost so u can keep on abusing multiscale. thats just my preference tho.
dont use roar on scarftran. dragon pulse would be a much better option to hit haxorus &kingdra. also since u got rid of explosion u should switch rash nature to timid.

Ah thanks for the feedback I was partial to roost and I think it wil do well for dnite But now what should bronzong be doing?

Bumpin! I need help deciding what bronzong should do? Be a dual screener and give me better defense or keep him as is to use trick on speedy devils like excadrill?

I would go for Excadrill counter,he wrecks you now that I think about it. Either go with Macho-Trick or get a Gliscor.

Ohhh no I'm sticking with macho trick. I love gliscor but he's been on my last two rmt's! This team is meant to be more creative than the usual staples. Lol

and for excadrill he ain't gettin past gastrodon. Excadrill does hit hard but decent bulk and surf should tackle him. Also breloom has two stabs against him although if it runs xscissor then breloom is in trouble

Wassup Rofellos!!

Your team is really excellent!

The main question is why does Heatran have a Rash Nature?? I am 100% that a Timid Nature works better with Heatran as Heatran needs its bulk.

I suggest running HP Fighting instead of HP Ice. I use Scarf Heatran alot and I find Scarftran huge bait for Tyranitar to come in and wall it. I personally run HP Fighting since I can use Heatran's disadvantage against Tyranitar into a way to get rid of the annoying sand beast easier. HP Ice isn't going to be abused much because your other moves can hit things that are weak to HP Ice as well so HP Fighting is a way to hit Tyanitar MUCH harder.(2HKO/3HKO depending on its EV spread)

Dnite!! Thanks so much! Yes I was supposed to change heatrans nature to timid after some changes but I forgot to write that in lol. And I can definitely see the advantage of hp fighting bu I thought that was why I had breloom but I can see how heatran is ttar bait. But thanks for the feedback! I was sure that no one else had anymore interest lol.
