Note: This is my first RMT, but I've been building teams for a long time.
Welcome to my RMT. This is a team i built around Choice Specs Kyurem. Specs Kyurem is really hard to switch into in the current metagame. Its usual switch ins are Heatran and Rotom-W, which can both be 2hko/ohko'd.
Kyurem @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Ice Beam
- Draco Meteor
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
This is a standard Kyurem build. I don't have Earth Power, but I use Hp fire to kill Scizor. Focus Blast is there to hit Tyranitar, and still Ohko Heatran. Kyurem is going to be your main Spatk mon of the team due to its ability to minimize the switch ins.
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Lava Plume
- Taunt
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
The next mon im going to cover is Heatran. Tran acts as one of my main walls. Heatran also helps out against the Lati twins, stall, and Tangrowth. Im replacing Flash Cannon with Toxic so i can handle Talonflame.
Tangrowth @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 232 HP / 24 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Knock Off
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Earthquake
I decided to go Tangrowth for a plethora of reasons. Tangrowth has the ability to switch in on Lati@s and Keldeo. Tangrowth can also deal with almost any variant of Landorus, Excadrill, and Garchomp. Earthquake is an optional move, but can deal with Heatran.
Metagross-Mega @ Metagrossite
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thunder Punch
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Hone Claws
I'm using Megagross as my Physical Attacker and Mega. I'm using Hone Claws because I'm unlucky and miss a lot of crucial attacks. Also because it acts as a sweeper. Kyurem and Megagross both help each other out by killing their checks.
Keldeo-Resolute @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Secret Sword
- Hydro Pump
- Scald
- Icy Wind
I went with the scarf variant of Keldeo because i needed a late game sweeper. If Kyurem and Megagross fail to kill anything, Keldeo can pretty much pick off any mon. It also provides a Bisharp and Heatran check.
Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Discharge
- Defog
- Roost
- Heat Wave
My final choice was Zapdos. I don't prefer using Zapdos because i don't its that good (imo), but I needed a Defogger and Ground Immunity. Defensive Zapdos can switch into Secret Sword, Pinsir, and Mega Scizor.
Threats: Gengar 6-0's my team if used perfectly, and Dragon Dancers such as Dragonite or (possibly) Mence.
