Updated the OP with Toxic instead of Thunder Wave. I put Seismic Toss in instead of Return because Spinda's base 60 Atk probably isn't going to do much, where as Seismic toss always does 100.

The only thing I have a problem with is that I don't think Attract should be slashed with Teeter Dance. Sure, many people choose Male>Female, but it relies on that fact. And if they are opposite gender, Attract is useless, so in essentials you only have 3 moves to work with instead of 4. I personally think Thunder Wave is MUCH more useful then it, and it should at least be slashed.

I know that many people think that Spinda should keep its joke analysis, and I see the reasoning behind that. However, I see a problem with that thinking. I've looked at many other competitive Pokemon sites and their respective Shoddy servers (since they don't have PL yet). A lot of people on said sites and servers look towards Smogon as a well-respected site that is also well informed. If they saw the joke analyses on-site, I don't think that many people would appreciate Smogon as much, and support would slowly start to disappear. Basically, a serious competitive Pokemon battling site like Smogon shouldn't have massive jokes as analyses, as they do nothing to show why Smogon is the premier site for competitive battling.

Back to the main topic (this set), I have just finished a battle with NoJohns, who used this Spinda. My report: It works very well. It actually does a decent job at stalling, and the only reason why I didn't hate it more during the battle was because I had my Steelix in against it. If it weren't for Steelix, I would have had many problems. Just because Spinda has horrible stats (and a horrible design) does not mean that it will always be horrible.

2 UU moderators have already spoken that Spinda's analysis should not be updated because it's "just that bad". I agree with them, making it 3 C&C moderators. That seals the deal, and I am moving this to L&O now.

Rather, they might appreciate us more, because it shows that we're not elitist, stuck up, or oblivious to the fact that something like Spinda sucks beyond a shadow of a doubt.
