I'm not here to make waves, but I have to say something.
The Rhyperior spotlight was taken back 5 days after my reservation, while for some people the delay was up to 7 days. The only reason given was "lack of progress". However, I had contacted Lily because I had a question about the EVs, so to get it ready (you can ask her) -- that proves that I hadn't done anything. Also, some people posted their spotlight (even if it was directly sent to QC) more than a week after reserving it -- Theia with Excadrill last month, for example. And to Bella with Salamence, nobody said anything, although she didn't post anything, too. Are there any other reasons for taking back the spotlight that I don't know?
I'm not asking to get the spotlight back, I just want to understand because I have a little feeling of injustice.

If thats the case, i would rather drop mence for slowbro g as its a mon im more cofident in writing, thanksCan i do gbro? I know i dont have the mence one up in qc yet but ill get that done by like… tonight
not now sorry, if it's not taken yet then you can reserve it once salamence is QC-ready

First off, I want to express how lenient we've been with the rules regarding time frames for quite some time now; may I remind you all that the deadline to post your spotlight's WIP post by is 48 hours before it is subject to being reassigned. However, given that rules have been being taken advantage of, we are going to start enforcing them more strictly. May I remind everyone to read over the Rules and Guidelines thread if you haven't already.
Valteyek You did not request more time from one of us to work on the spotlight, nor did you reach out to inform us that you requested help from Lily and that was why there was a delay. There wasn't a WIP thread posted either, so logically we decided to reassign the spotlight due to the clear lack of progress. The reassignment is being upheld, you can reserve something next month. In the future please reach out to one of us privately if you have a question or concern so as to not flood this thread.

This is because doing so massively stifles progress and allows people to bypass the consequences of taking too long on their original reservation by just dropping it for something else. Furthermore, if you drop a set OR have a set reassigned, you will not be allowed to reserve something until the next month. We understand that life happens and stuff comes up, but we feel this is the fairest way to handle these scenarios. I also want to stress that if you are busy, please do not reserve something if you know you aren't going to have the time to write it.

As per this post and the recently updated Rules & Guidelines, we will no longer be allowing users to claim another set during the month if the previous one was dropped or reassigned. You'll be able to reserve something again next month -
