Assault Vest is one of the most common and prevelant sets Landorus-T uses. The reason is that it was the most consistent and performs well against top tier threats like Zeraora,Metagross,Choice Scarf Porygon-Z,Sylveon and Tapu Koko. It's also worth mentioning it has a monoply of having a very good matchup into Togekiss, if it runs Iron Tail which the other sets don't. It has an amazing matchup against alot of the good mons in the metagame, estabalishing itself as a top tier pokemon.

Knock off beats Spectrier and helps out against many more matchups like Choice Specs Zapdos and Haban Regidrago. Outrage helps it beat dragons like Choice Band Haxorus, Offensive Dragapult and Regidrago. Buldoze lets Landorus-T beat Garchomp, have a more transparent Entei matchup. Superpower lets it obliterate Choice Scarf Porygon-Z and Tyranitar. Using Smack Down lets Landorus-T gain the Celesteela matchup. Rock Tomb helps it secure the Zapdos matchup. Iron Tail enables a more reliable match up against Fairies like Togekiss, also helps out against physically bulky Sylveon and Choice Specs Tapu Lele.

The HP and Defense Investment lets it withstand Choice Band Adamant Dragapult's Outrage and retaliate back with Landorus-T's own Outrage, decimating the Dragapult. This Special Defense investment lets it take 2 maximum Special Attack Modest Regidrago Draco Meteors. The Speed investment is to outspeed Garchomp after Landorus-T gets off a Bulldoze. If Landorus-T is running smack down to beat Celesteela, the alternative EVs should be used EVs: 252 HP / 52 Atk / 28 Def / 72 SpD / 104 Spe. This set sacrifices some of it's Attack in order to outspeed max Speed Cresseilia.
Usage Tips
=============
Outrage on turn 1 against Garchomp isn't the play since, Outrage doesn't OHKO and Choice Band Garchomp can easily 2HKO Landorus-T. However. using Bulldoze on turn 1 chips Garchomp down and lowers Garchomp's speed. Meaning on the following turn Landorus-T can both outspeed and KO Garchomp.

Choice Band Landorus-T has a very good matchup against high ranking pokemon in the Viability Rankings. Beating 2 of the 4 S- rank pokemon reliably and Cresselia without Ice Beam and coinflipping Primarina with a predict. Landorus-T can run Jolly nature on teams that lack a Choice Specs Porygon-Z answer and outspeed it and finish it off with Earthquake. Adamant can be ran for the insane raw power it gains with the Choice Band item.

This set runs Bulldoze for Entei, Outrage picks up dragons like Choice Band Haxorus and improves it's matchup against Regidrago. Knock off beats Cresselia without Ice beam. Fly beats Urshifu-Single Strike and Superpower totally demolishes Choice Specs Porygon-Z .Rock Slide helps beat Kee Berry Will-o-Wisp stall Volcarona.

This set prioritizes max power and max attack, it's nature however is fairly customizable based on it's teammates. For example this set can run Jolly Nature on a team that is vulnerable to Choice Specs Porygon-Z and Adamant on ones that look weak to Gastrodon. It can also run the alternative EVs of, EVs: 172 HP / 220 Atk / 108 SpD / 8 Spe . This allows it to easily tank Choice Specs Tapu Lele Psyshock and retaliate with a powerful STAB Earthquake that would obliterate Tapu Lele. It runs 8 Speed Investment to outspeed base 60 Speed Pokemon like Magnezone.
Usage Tips

Against Entei Landorus-T always uses Bulldoze to secure the win as Leftovers Entei can easily PP stall Landorus-T's Earthquake with it's Pressure ability. Bulldoze has 32 PP meaning it has exactly twice as the PP Earthquake has, securing the Entei matchup. Againt Crustle too the Landorus-T should use Bulldoze, this is because the Speed drop really cripples Crustle and now even after a Shell Smash it is slower than Jolly Landorus-T. Buldoze also always 2HKOs Crustle even if the Crustle is White Herb
