Dedenne is not viable in SS ZU due to it being entirely outclassed by the top Pokemon in the tier, Rotom, which has a better movepool, ability, secondary typing, and Special Attack stat.

Dedenne attempts to work as an offensive pivot with its fast Speed stat and access to Volt Switch. Unfortunately for Dedenne, it is outclassed by one of the tier's top Pokemon, Rotom, which does its job much better with its deeper movepool, better Special Attack, and its Ghost typing and Levitate providing it with a bunch of immunities. Even Manectric, a mid-tier Pokemon, also has better qualities with its better Special Attack and Speed, access to Overheat to hit Grass-types, and a useful ability in Lightning Rod.
