Part of the 2025 DOU Oldgens Circuit, hosted by Arcticblast​

Tournament rules
  • This is a standard SS Doubles OU tournament.
  • This tournament will be double elimination.
  • Rounds will be Best of Three. You may switch teams in between battles of the same set.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown, on either the main server or the Smogtours server.
  • To encourage metagame development, prevent disputed results, and ensure an even playing field, replays are required for all matches.
  • Activity calls will be made by the tournament host, potentially with neutral assistance from a Doubles OU Forum Moderator. Coin flips will be done publicly on PS.
  • In the event that something is added to or removed from the SS DOU metagame in the middle of a round, that change will be in effect starting the next round.
  • Do not cheat. Cheating will result in a disqualification. Additional punishments may be applied as necessary. Cheating includes, but is not limited to:
    • Signing up with more than one account
    • Ghosting or being ghosted by another player (e.g. while playing a set, asking for advice about what team to bring or what plays to make)
    • Manipulating match outcomes (e.g. throwing a match in exchange for Smogon likes)
  • Do not harass or insult your opponents. I reserve the right to disqualify anyone breaking this rule. Additional punishments may be applied as necessary.

Iceberg77  vs  SingleThunder - Hard match, but on SS I remember that Iceberg77 is kind of a monster.
qsns  vs  Paraplegic - New school vs Old school, oldest win on old gen.
jonas  vs  xqiht - xqiht fav of the year imo.
Hugo  vs  NinjaSnapple - More experience and imo better. "CEPENDANT" rain is good in SS.
KniY  vs  GenOne - Good luck vs Hard Sun TR.
Actuarily  vs  Neblina - Imo Neblina is better in SS, but Actuarily is Actuarily ... just the goat (he'll anticipate the Neblina's X Factor).
MADARAAAA  vs  variationonatheme - GL HF vs the monster.
LogIce  vs  AM - I've seen both matches, LogIce got a better ingame, but AM have good teams.

CodeVG  vs  Marss Barss - I've never see Marss Barss, and CodeVG should be better than a new comer.
LovelyLuna  vs  Despacito87 - Same type of player. The more dedicated will win, and imo Despacito87 is the one.
Akaru Kokuyo  vs  Amaranth - RIP both ... Worst pairings I've ever seen .. Both should have granted a free win here.
Yoda2798  vs  Sunrose - Yoda in old gen ... if he wants to win this tour, he'll win it.
Zerotti  vs  Lemurro - Same as Akaru / Amaranth .. both deserved a win. GL to you.
Éric  vs  Bye - Bye win on coinflip due to no schedule by Eric.
 
Activity:
- Iceberg admitted to missing time; SingleThunder is granted the win.
- KniY did not respond to scheduling; GenOne is granted the win. KniY will automatically lose any further coin flips.
- ySagaz_ did not respond to scheduling... but AIRedzone did not reach out to schedule until the last day of the round. AIRedzone only wins because ySagaz_ cannot win a coin flip.

Coin flip:
- Zerotti and Lemurro had some really rough scheduling. Neither player claimed activity, so this one is going to a flip:

no, I thought I did but it seems I forgot. I rescind my complaint this is a fine coinflip.
