Dubwool is listed as unviable due to its shallow movepool and lackluster defensive typing. Cofagrigus does a better job as a Defense-boosting Body Press user with better a defensive typing and Shadow Ball to hit Ghost-types.

Dubwool attempts to work as a late-game sweeper with Cotton Guard and Body Press. However, it struggles with Body Press being its only move in a tier with popular Ghost-types like Rotom, Froslass, and Gourgeist. Cofagrigus does a much better job in this role with its STAB Shadow Ball, as Dubwool cannot function until its team removes Ghost-types for it and is less immediately threatening.

Dubwool is listed as unviable due to its shallow movepool and lackluster defensive typing. As a defensive wall, it is outclassed by one of the best Pokemon in the tier, Miltank, since it has incredible stats and support moves like Heal Bell, Toxic, and reliable recovery in Milk Drink which Dubwool lacks. On offense, Cofagrigus does a better job as a defense boosting Body Press user with better defensive typing and access to STAB Shadow Ball to hit Ghost-types and special walls. i dont really like the comparison to miltank as they dont share that much in common. i think only cofagrigus is a fair comparison as both have the same role : ironpress.

Dubwool attempts to work as a defensive wall and late game sweeper with its access to Cotton Guard and Body Press (fluffy doesnt boots bp) the Fluffy Ability. It is one of the only Pokemon to make use of Cotton Guard which can help it do immediate damage faster. However, the bad heavily outweigh the good. fluff It doesn't have access to any good support moves, especially with two move slots needing to be dedicated to recovery, unlike Miltank. this is the reason why i dont think it should be compared to miltank, id remove it entirely It also struggles as a sweeper with Body Press being its only move in a tier with popular Ghost-types like Froslass and Gourgeist. AND ROTOM Cofagrigus does a much better job in this role with its access to STAB Shadow Ball, whereas Dubwool cannot function until its team can remove Ghost-types for it and is less immediatly threatening.
