Oh man, Corthius just gained more ground on SpacialRendevous aka MonkeySniper and now sits 2 points ahead of him with this last week to go for the first Top Cupid for SS NU Matchmaking. This is the last week of this run of 10 mons to pair together with another. It'll be a close one for sure and I'm going to make this 10th week worth DOUBLE POINTS! That's right. This week, winners get 2x points. With that in mind...............

Week 10
The mon that needs love this time is.............

Rapidash @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Flare Blitz
- High Horsepower
- Morning Sun / Wild Charge

Reserving wishiwashi

Wishiwashi-School @ Leftovers
Ability: Schooling
EVs: 252 HP / 28 Atk / 68 Def / 48 SpA / 112 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Scald
- Toxic
- U-turn
- Protect

I found some possible checks for rapidash:

(+ -> -) quagsire, avalugg, sandaconda, cofagrigus, piloswine, wishiwashi, lanturn, stunfisk-galar.

-----------------------

Quagsire, avalugg, sandaconda, cofagrigus, piloswine can perfectly hold their hits even at +2 (if they are at 100%) and defeat them with super effective/powerful moves (avalugg, cofagrigus-body press)

Calcs: https://pastebin.com/NTtWF2Eu

Wishiwashi can be a safe change because he can take his punches and win a 1vs1

Calcs:
https://pastebin.com/Sga6vK8J
-----------------

Wishiwashi and lanturn can be a "safe" change as they can handle a fblitz and then a wcharge/high horse (if they are at 100%)

Calcs: https://pastebin.com/eurekcMz

Wishiwashi can withstand the blows of the enemy wishiwashi and with toxic force a change not to die, vs lanturn wishiwashi can withstand 2-3 Volt switch and if it stays you can put toxic and then u-turn(if they are at low life they can die vs rapidash)

Calcs: https://pastebin.com/6XzL8QJj

----------------

In the case of stunfisk-g we will analyze in case 100vs100( because if you change x Mon by fisk,he dies by fblitz+possible hazards+move above)

In 100vs100 rapidash he can't ohko Fisk, whereas he can.

Calcs: https://pastebin.com/jsb0JQ5q

For this reason it is advisable to wear it out first with wishiwashi/hazzards/another Mon from the team.

Finally wishiwashi can help rapidash with u-turn(more pressure) xd
Thanks for reading

Abomasnow @ Choice Specs
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Blizzard
- Giga Drain
- Earth Power
- Leaf Storm
Abomasnow excels at beating down bulky Water- and Ground-types, making it a great offensive partner for Rapidash. Would-be checks to Rapidash like Quagsire, Wishiwashi, and Sandaconda have to risk a double switch into Abomasnow, making them think twice about coming in.
In return, Rapidash cleaves through walls that have ideas of trying to switch into Abomasnow, like Clefairy and specially defensive Togedemaru.

eldegoss

:ss/eldegoss:
Eldegoss @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Rapid Spin
- Aromatherapy
- Sleep Powder

:eldegoss: & :rapidash:
eldegoss is a phenomenal teampartner for rapidash as it excels its role as a sturdy ground-resists and also as a hazard removal option. eldegoss can take on the likes of quagsire and
sandaconda and it can also help against defensive variants of wishiwashi. furthermore eldegoss can also help rapidash out with aromatherapy and helps rapidash to stay healthy and un-statused
because being toxiced or parad holds rapidash extremely back in the role it should fullfill. it can also help rapidash with creating set-up opportunities with the help of sleep powder,
where it is able to put foes to sleep. to add onto that eldegoss can come in multiple times to support rapidash due to its amazing ability in regenerator.
rapidash on the other side is able to break through problematic pokémon such as orbeetle, perrserker, silvally-steel and rotom-frost. rapidash can also help eldegoss against a numerous of other pokémon such as klinklang, abomasnow and ferroseed.
in overall these 2 are phenomenal teammates and help each other with their checks and counters and furthermore eldegoss' role in supporting rapidash is very excellent as it can cover up the many weaknesses rapidash fears.

Qwilfish
:ss/Qwilfish:
Qwilfish @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Spikes / Toxic Spikes
- Scald
- Toxic
Qwilfish's ability to wear down or cripple opposing checks to Rapidash makes it a great partner for it. Via Spikes & / or Toxic Spikes checks like Quagsire, Sandaconda and Wishiwashi have to think twice before switching since a poison or heavy poison would heavily dent their ability to effectively check and Spike damage wearing them down. Qwilfish also has great synergy with Rapidash's offensive nature and it makes a great spiker for these teams

:ss/Tangela:

Tangela @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Def / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Sleep Powder / Leech Seed
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off
- Synthesis

Tangela is a great partner for Rapidash. Tangela's extreme physical bulk allows it to shrug off ground and water moves with ease, while even being able to survive multiple rock moves despite not resisting them with the help of synthesis and regenerator. Tangela can provide Rapidash opportunities to set up with sleep powder, and also open a chance to Rapidash getting a Flash Fire boost from a fire attack aimed at Tangela. Rapidash also helps patch up Tangela's weakness to ice moves.

Gourgeist-Small @ Life Orb
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Poltergeist
- Power Whip
- Shadow Sneak
- Synthesis

Why not use the new toy Gourgeist got in Poltergeist? That's right. The poltergeist getting Poltergeist. However, I chose Geist for the reasoning of dealing with the likes of Wishiwashi, Piloswine, Quagsire, etc. Geist has a really nice speed tier by hitting 326 if +Speed. It lets Geist outspeed what it needs to and hit hard what it needs to.
