A hyper offense team I whipped up for laddering, i would like criticism and suggestions about it.
Thank You.

Edit:Sorry for it being too short

I am going to describe every member so its easier for you to help me.

:ss/terrakion:

Terrakion @ Focus Sash
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Close Combat
This is my suicide lead. I chose terrakion over the regular excadrill and mew because its faster than most the suicide leads (only being outsped by lycanroc) and it is able to taunt them efficiently. It can also get in some very nice damage in with stone edge and close combat which my sweepers really appreciate.

:ss/lycanroc-dusk:

Lycanroc-Dusk @ Life Orb
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Accelerock
- Close Combat
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance

Lycanroc is just a very good priority user and can be used as a late game cleaner with swords dance and also for heavy damage early game. I gave it Accelrock as a way to punish flying types and volcarona and Close Combat to kill non sucker punch urshifu and excadrill, it has sucker punch to revenge kill aegislash and dragapult and swords dance to booost its attack and make it even more threatenning.

:ss/rillaboom:

Rillaboom @ Life Orb
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Grassy Glide
- Superpower
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance

Rillaboom is there to dent the opposing team and bring them down to low health from where lycanroc or hawlucha can finish the game. Its a standard set so I dont have much to say about it

:ss/dragapult:

Dragapult @ Life Orb
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naughty Nature
IVs: 8 SpD
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Darts
- Grudge
- Phantom Force

Dragapult's main job is to bait a Moonblast from clefable while using grudge so hawlucha and hydreigon can set up easily without being threatened, it has 8spdef ivs and a -spdef nature to ensure a ohko with moonblast so grudge is always succesful. it can also get in some heavy damage with its dual stab moves and bluff a regular mixed dragon dance set with dragon dance.

:ss/hawlucha:

Hawlucha @ Grassy Seed
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 44 HP / 224 Atk / 116 SpD / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Close Combat
- Substitute

Hawlucha is there to abuse the grassy terrain and essentially dent stall teams enough to let any of its teammates cleanup later, its evs are specified to be able to outspeed sand rush excadrill, and to survive two scalds from toxapex while in substitute and the rest in attack. It also takes care of any scarfed dittos trying to revenge kill as unburden is not activated on the ditto and hence gets outsped and ohko'd by my hawlucha.

:ss/hydreigon:

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Flash Cannon

Hydreigon is a fellow stall breaker in this team which is great with nasty plot and draco meteor, flamethrower and flash cannon. i chose not to use dark pulse and went for flamethower instead was because i did not have any other way of dealing with bulky steel types like corviknight and skarmory. It pairs well with dragapult as dragapult can grudge the moonblast from clefable and hydreigon can abuse that and setup multiple nasty plots that way.

That is my team and I would love criticism and help.
Thank you.

Hi, I really like Grudge DD Pult in this meta and I thought I'd give some input.

Looking at the team, you kind of have to switch in Rillaboom anytime Clefable is in or you are forced to sac a pokemon or a good chunk of damage on Lycanroc. While it's good to lure Clefable with Grudge Dragapult, you shouldn't be completely reliant on it to beat it in my opinion.

:Terrakion: --> :Jirachi:
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Power-Up Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Iron Head
- Fire Punch

The first change I made was putting Jirachi over Terrakion. Jirachi is a safe switch-in to Clefable and switches in on many other fairy types that can give the team trouble such as Hatterene. The Jirachi change also allows you to not have to sack a pokemon every time a specs Kyurem is in vs your Rillaboom. This set allows you to put immense pressure on bulkier teams and kind of cheese your way through with flinches and PuP boosts.

:Lycanroc-Dusk:
Lycanroc-Dusk @ Focus Sash
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Accelerock
- Stealth Rock / Filler
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
Next, I tweaked the Lycanroc set a bit. Lycanroc is nice on this team to revenge Volcarona and pick off a good amount of offensive mons with Accelerock such as Zeraora and Dragapult to name a few. I'm of the opinion that stealth rock isn't a necessity this gen with the prevalence of heavy-duty boots which is why I think changing stealth rock for a coverage move is not a bad idea. This mon has a lot of room for experimentation as its coverage is pretty good so I'd recommend trying a load of different sets and seeing what you like the best.

:Rillaboom:
Rillaboom @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- U-turn
- Grassy Glide
- Knock Off
Finally, I changed the Rillaboom set to Choice Band. Maintaining momentum with U-Turn is the main reason why I changed the set. Rillaboom is able to put a lot of pressure on the opponent and force switches so having U-Turn to get a more favorable pokemon in is huge. A great example of this is Rillaboom U-Turning out from a bulky grass type such as Tangrowth or Amoonguss and Hawlucha being able to take huge advantage of them.

That's all I've got, hope this helped!

Hey Abhisdn417,

your initial version of the team looks decent, but I think there are still ways to change this team to make it better against opposing Quiver Dance-Volcarona and also Urshifu (both versions), as your team looks quite weak to them. Furthermore I changed 2 Pokemon, why I did that will be explained later in this post. First of all, I kept Lycanroc-Dusk as your suicide lead for setting up Stealth Rock to break Focus Sashes on opposing Hyper Offense teams. It also kept Accelrock as your team might struggle against opposing Volcarona and Accelerock gives Lycanroc a necessary tool against it.
Counter is chosen for helping against physical set-up-sweepers like Zeraora, Rillaboom, Hawlucha and also Excadrill, to wear them down drastically.
Taunt is to disrupt hazard-removal and to help keeping up the Stealth Rocks you set up before.

:ss/Lycanroc-Dusk:
Lycanroc-Dusk @ Focus Sash
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Accelerock

- Counter

I personally would keep Rillaboom as a set-up-sweeper on this team with Drain Punch to help versus Ferrothorn without losing the Attack boost due to Superpower and without lowering your Defense-stat 1 Stage. Drain Punch gives Rillaboom also some health back which it might lose due to the Life Orb in conjunction with Grassy Terrain.

:ss/Rillaboom:

Rillaboom @ Life Orb
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Grassy Glide
- Knock Off

- Drain Punch

I kept Hawlucha and Dragapult how they are, i only changed Phantom Force on Dragapult to Fire Blast to being able to break through Ferrothorn a little bit easier and also opposing Steel-Types like Corviknight and Skarmory. I kept Grudge because you wanted it to have as a countermeasure against Clefable, when it Moonblasts, it will help Hawlucha to set-up aswell.

:ss/Hawlucha:

Hawlucha @ Grassy Seed
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Close Combat

- Substitute

:ss/Dragapult:
Dragapult @ Life Orb
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Darts
- Grudge

- Fire Blast

Next member is Volcarona, as it is overall a great addition to Hyper Offensive-teams like these with Quiver Dance + 3 Attacks. I have chosen this set as it will help to overcome the general issue against Toxapex and Primarina likes to have it weakened in the lategame-process of the game or better to be removed, as Toxapex can be troublesome for Primarina this is why I chose Psychic to dent through Toxapex. It can also hit opposing Dragapult for neutral damage.

:ss/Volcarona:

Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Flamethrower
- Psychic

- Bug Buzz

Lastly i chose Primarina, as this Pokemon is very threatening overall with the Substitute + Calm Mind-Set and it has a easy time to set-up on Urshifu-R and Kingdra with this set, so your team isnt that prone to them, as otherwise you are left with only Rillaboom as your counterplay. Primarina helps with that issue and its Scald is strengthened aswell due to the rain, which makes it a good option on this team. In general Primarina threatens a lot of common Pokemon right now and it thrives in usage not only on ladder, but also in tournaments.

:ss/Primarina:

Primarina @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 248 HP / 40 SpA / 44 SpD / 176 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Scald

- Moonblast

a question, why should i keep grudge pult though? since theres no hydreigon i could use the regular ddance set

"Primarina helps with that issue and its Scald is strengthened aswell due to the rain"
WHere the heck did the rain come from?

I helped this team to be opt better against opposing rain, therefore the rain comes from opposing Pelippers and while being under the opposing rain, its Scald gets strengthened as result. He had only Rillaboom as a counterplay to rain, so i went with Primarina here as it can rather comfortable use Kingdra - which oftentimes is choice locked - and also Urshifu-Rapid Strike as a setup opportunity.

I like this team a lot and think its pretty good, but I made a couple changes to fit my style. On Dragapult, I gave it u-turn instead of grudge because I feel grudge doesn't fit a hyper offensive team as well as some other coverage or switch move. Also, I used another Hydreigon set that I find works, because I'm not a huge fan of Draco Meteor.

Hydreigon @ Assault Vest
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
- Flamethrower

I also feel like a change that could be made if you dont like having more then one rock type, is to replace terrakion with excadrill. They can fill the same purpose and gives you more variety. I recommend this set because you can really dish out some good hits and you can set up and remove stealth rocks.

Excadrill @ Focus Sash
Ability: Sand Rush
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock

I am open to suggestions and would like to know if you can improve off this,

AV hydreigon?? Could i ask why?

AV hydreigon?? Could i ask why?
AV Hydreigon because I find if he gets stuck in a situation against something hes weak to, he has a better chance of living a hit if he cant quite put it away. Also, Life orb is on 3 of the other Pokemon, which I fell is more or less putting a timer on the battle. I'm not necessarily say it's better, I'm just saying AV hydreigon is my choice For these reasons.

One more thing that's off the topic of hydreigon, is that excadrill can also benefit having jolly nature instead of adamant. Really just personal choice.
