Utilizing Taunt, Nature's Madness, and Whirlpool, Tapu Fini baits, traps, and removes Toxapex for offensive partners otherwise concerned about being walled or threatened by status. Misty Surge is a huge plus for this reason, as it prevents both Scald burns and Toxic from Toxapex. It's best to remove items from Toxapex beforehand, as Shed Shell or Eject Button variants can prevent trapping.

Block + Spite Toxapex is amazing at trapping and deleting other Toxapex mainly because you can be sure that the other Toxapex will come in against you and no one will scout for Block. To be more specific, when you get your Toxapex in you can start spamming Knock Off. Most of the time, when Toxapex is in a team you will use it as a Knock Off absorber and rather than losing precious items, most players will switch-in their own Toxapex to trade a Knock Off. This means two things; first one is that you will be able to freely click Block and trap them as they want to trade back a Knock Off, and second one is that even if they are Shed Shell you will be able to Knock this Off first. Block Spite Toxapex is way too much uncommon for someone to check and risk getting Knocked Off on another Pokemon while not Knocking Off your own Toxapex. Now, once the opposing Toxapex is Blocked, Spite (which is like having a 64 PP move) allows you to win the one vs one (against every set bar something like Light Screen + Knock Off + Haze, but that’s super uncommon and you can still make them use most of their PP), even though your Toxapex will end up super low in PP.
Now there’s one main drawback in using this Toxapex set which is that you will lose most of your utility as a Toxapex. You can still spam Knock Off and use an item like Rocky Helmet to punish some physical attackers or some U-turn users, but not having Scald and Haze and Toxic means that you won’t be able to check some of the Pokemon you like to check as a Toxapex. This set is also rather specific as you can’t trap a lot of Pokemon (your main targets are opposing Toxapex and sometimes Ferrothorn), so it should only be used in a team where you can afford losing this utility and rely on trapping and deleting the opposing Toxapex to win.
For instance, I’ve used this set alongside with Acid Armor Body Press Melmetal who is an amazing wincon, but who can’t don’t anything if there’s a Toxapex in the opposing team, meaning that you rely on deleting the opposing Toxapex first to put any kind of work.

A healthy Toxapex will often stay in vs Slowking to get rid of its Assault Vest in the early game, a perfect opportunity to trap it with Whirlpool and eliminated provided its not a Shed Shell variant. Probably worth sneaking in a Knock with something like Weav first to make sure the lure doesnt go to waste vs Shed Shell. It runs enough speed to outpace 0 Speed Pex. Main drawback of this is having to give up on Future Sight and/or coverage on the standard AV set, which are extremely useful in every other matchup

Urshifu-R lures Pex in quite easily since normally it has to U-turn out and take tonnes of Rocky Helmet damage if it clicks Surging Strikes. With Whirlpool and Thunder Punch, it forces Toxapex to click Recover since it will be 2HKOed by Thunder Punch and the trapping damage. Since Toxapex is constantly clicking Recover anyway, it lets Urshifu keep its Protective Pads to block Rocky Helmet damage or a Scald burn.

Moonblast's damage output bluffs Scarf (the different Nature is basically undetectable given the low damage roll), so the Toxapex user is conditioned to stay in, especially if you aggressively bluffed Choice Scarf beforehand (for example, against Dragapult or Weavile, two typical Scarf Moonblast victims). On the following turn, you get to crush Toxapex with a supereffective STAB Psyshock that, alongside the previous Moonblast, always kills any Toxapex spread. Of course, Tapu Lele can still maul Toxapex after it has killed something with one of its other coverage moves.

Toxapex will almost always play knock off against Aegislash, you just have to get it in a one on one position. Block + Metal Sound could catch defensive pokémon like Toxapex off guard, and it's not very detrimental to the set since you almost always click Shadow Ball. Close Combat is still the preferred fourth move over Flash Cannon in my opinion, for the ability to hit things like Hydreigon and Heatran on switch.

Not something particularly new or uncommon, but Toxapex has historically been a key target of this set, which capitalises on the two happening to end up in front of each other quite a lot. Sticky Barb is cool because IIRC it will transfer even with Knock Off, meaning you can take advantage of Pex's tendency to act as a Knock absorber and then force transfer Barb onto it while absorbing Knock yourself, or you can do the easier thing (which usually happens on the rare occasions I run this) and just Trick it or the Choice Scarf onto to Pex when it stays in on or switches into you without fearing a potential Black Sludge thanks to Magic Guard.

Just caught this thread before the deadline damn. Anyway for the goated pex lure. It’s funny because I was actually planning on my next post not being about blaziken, but I came up with this around the time I found this thread so here we are. Blaziken is a great lure for pex because in my experience at least far too many people on the ladder autopilot their toxapex into setup sweepers that don’t have a move in their standard sets to ko it immediately, in spite of a potential tech, eager to haze away the boosts and stop a sweep before it starts. The easy choice for a lure seems to be sd lo earthquake, a solid coverage option that provides value outside of hitting toxapex by hitting certain targets without fearing contact chip. However, like I’ve said in the past the thing I dislike the most about lo blaziken outside of ho is it’s tendency to chip itself into priority range or outright ko itself with the combination of lo chip, flare blitz recoil, and contact chip.This set fully removes the former, and partially removes the latter from that combination, making flare blitz recoil and cc drops much easier to deal with, while still maintaining a solid damage output overall.
