:bw/Tyranitar:
Tyranitar @ Leftovers :Leftovers:
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 40 SpA / 216 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Rock Blast
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Stealth Rock / Thunder Wave / Toxic

Scizor basically sits on Specially Defensive Tyranitar and uses it as setup fodder. With Fire Blast, not only does Tyranitar get past Scizor but Ferrothorn and Tangrowth too! Just some EVs in Special Attack, and Tyranitar OHKOs Scizor as well as 2HKOs Ferrothorn and Tangrowth. Even at the cost of special defense and speed, this set is still worth using to prevent setup opportunities, entry hazard stacking, and unneeded chip damage from your opponent. This lure only works if the opponent has scouted that your are not Choice Band, due to that set regularly using Fire Punch.

:Tyranitar: -> :Scizor:
40 SpA Tyranitar Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 88 SpD Scizor: 344-408 (100.2 - 118.9%)
0 Atk Tyranitar Rock Blast (3 hits) vs. 248 HP / 172+ Def Scizor: 81-99 (23.6 - 28.8%)
0 Atk Tyranitar Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 172+ Def Scizor: 72-85 (20.9 - 24.7%)

:Scizor: -> :Tyranitar:
0 Atk Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar: 152-180 (37.6 - 44.5%)
0 Atk Scizor Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar: 40-48 (9.9 - 11.8%)
+2 0 Atk Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar: 300-354 (74.2 - 87.6%)
+2 0 Atk Scizor Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar: 80-95 (19.8 - 23.5%)
+4 0 Atk Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar: 446-528 (110.3 - 130.6%)
+4 0 Atk Scizor Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar: 120-142 (29.7 - 35.1%)

Reserving Clefable

:ss/Clefable:
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Fire Blast
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled

On the ladder Clefable runs fire coverage only ~23% of the time (Flamethrower + Fire Blast; gen8ou-0 moveset), and it’s more often paired with Calm Mind rather than Stealth Rock. Keeping the rest of the set as standard as possible, as something like Life Orb would make the opponent think to scout.

:clefable:
0 SpA Clefable Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Scizor: 364-432 (129.5 - 153.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Clefable Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 88 SpD Scizor: 328-388 (95.6 - 113.1%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

:Scizor:
252+ Atk Life Orb Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 200 Def Clefable: 283-338 (71.8 - 85.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 200 Def Clefable: 168-198 (42.6 - 50.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

cough bulldoze ferrothorn cough

im not actually reserving anything

:ss/jirachi:

Jirachi @ Expert Belt
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 132 Atk / 160 SpA / 216 Spe
Mild Nature
- Iron Head
- Thunderbolt
- Icy Wind
- Aura Sphere

While Iron Defense Magnezone doesn't immediately threaten Jirachi, most Jirachi sets do so little in return that they're easy setup fodder if they lack U-turn or lock themselves into a move other than Trick. With this set, Jirachi can bait Magnezone in, then threaten a 2HKO with Aura Sphere.

160+ SpA Expert Belt Jirachi Aura Sphere vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Magnezone: 194-230 (68.7 - 81.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Iron Defense Ferrothorn

:ss/ferrothorn:

:ferrothorn:Ferrothorn @ Leftovers:leftovers:
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpDef
Impish/Relaxed Nature
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Leech Seed/Gyro Ball
- Spikes

Fast Skarmory
:ss/skarmory:
Skarmory @ Leftovers :leftovers:
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Def / 176 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roost
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Spikes

Skarmory is usually helpless against opposing Magnezone which trap and remove it with ease thanks to its typically bulky and lowspeed investment. However, with this spread it affords a faster approach that can threaten to chunk Magnezone with Body Press and a high chance to OHKO at +2 after Stealth Rock.

252 Def Skarmory Body Press vs. 4 HP / 252 Def Magnezone: 134-158 (47.5 - 56%) -- 22.7% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Def Skarmory Body Press vs. 4 HP / 252 Def Magnezone: 134-158 (47.5 - 56%) -- 80.1% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252 Def Skarmory Body Press vs. 4 HP / 252 Def Magnezone: 264-312 (93.6 - 110.6%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

I could've sworn we already did this one in a previous cycle...
