._____. anyone who goes on smogon and reads the standard sets, knows i pretty much ripped this entire pokemon and placed it in this thread. This is because I know it fits my team very well, but since the meta game changes very often, and tyranitar has such a great movepool, i will ask the good people of smogon, to choose the move set for me. Anyways, this thing is a standard Boah set, and sets up sandstorm for my team. without crunch or dark pulse and i am entirley creselia weak though. This is my wall breaker which my last team apparently lacked.

I need a phazer badly, not stealth rock because Phazing is more important role for him since I have so many suitable stealth rockers already. He is a rock resist which is badly needed since i have no spinner, which unfortunately means my team gets absolutely owned by toxic spikes, but im confident in the fact that they are not to popular these days anyways. He is also my only counter for bulky waters since celebi and tangrowth both get hurt by sandstorm. I can't afford to lose swampert basically, and i might consider switching someone for wish support jirachi for keeping this dude alive.

Counter for Heracross, Physical Wall, Stealth Rocker. Pretty cool under Sandveil too, which is the reason used over skarmory, who has always been effective for me, so if sandveil is not enough reason to use over skarmory for whatever reason then please tell me.

Special wall. I dislike how cradily is weak to fighting and neutral to ground, since i am a strong beleiver that walls should eithe be resistant or imune to ground, and fighting i beleive is horrible to be weak to in a walling position. But the recover benfits along with sandstorm boost make is desirable. Hp electric is for my only gyarados counter. I put gyro ball in because of extremely low speed, earthquake is a maybe. I might put stealth rock in unknown spot and give gliscor a button passing set. There is a lot to be decided on this set, so any feedback you have will be appreciated, wether it be a simple suggestion to outright flamming me for something obvious i might have missed.

Beast. With A substitue up, sandstorm, stealth rock, and the possiblity of me swords dancing, along with an attack that could be outright missing, coupled with two monstrous stab attacks that get resisted by naught but bronzong and skarmory, this thing is simply, as stated before, Beast. I prefer this set over choice banded/scarf/bright powder, because I don't like them as much, although i am willing to switch with a few simple well reasoned suggestions.

I really cannot decide on an item, since his speed is really troublsome (choice scarf), and i hate getting locked into a move (life orb/expert belt), although being locked into a move wouldn't be so bad if it packed enough punch (Choice Specs). Lava plume if im going with a choice item, so that i can atleast inflict burn on a pokemon before having to switch out. If i go with an agility passing set on gliscor though, i will probably go with expert belt/life orb, but then i still have to make a descion. Anyways, this is coupled with bronzong to cover a lot of resistances, and 2 immunites. I need a lot of help with this one.

PLEASE take the time to think about this team, and spend a lot of time rating it. I am going to do a threat list right now, and will post it when i am done, but until then, please RATE MY TEAM.

ok this is my threat list, and i expect at the end i will have a lot of wholes, and expect more feedback since i put the time to do this. ty for reading.

Blissey (44472 usages)= Tar can take all of its hits well and with 101 HP subs i lol at sisemictoss. Most of my team can hurt it without too much trouble from thunderwave though.

Garchomp (43334 usages)= Swampert can do the job pretty well, I could always put ice fang on Gliscor if it seems nescesary

Gengar (42642 usages)= Bronzong gets this thing pretty well, Tyranitar can do the job also.

Gyarados (33503 usages)= I think most gyarados will taunt Bronzong first and take a HP electric hurting it pretty bad.

Tyranitar (31865 usages)= I dont know, almost all of my pokemon can hurt it but since i have no fighting attacks none can really counter him.

Lucario (30717 usages)= Swampert can counter it pretty well. Garchomp can do the same if it has sword danced once, but it will take a lot of damage from extreme speed.

Heatran (28236 usages)= Swampert if it does not have HP Grass. Cresselia has already been considered.

Salamence (28196 usages)= Swampert again, Specsmence really hurts this team though, can be revenge killed by Garchomp, but i don't reckon that a specsmence will stay in on a Garchomp.

Metagross (28065 usages)= Swampert again :|. I really think i need to find a way to keep Swampert alive. Heatran can come in on meteor mashes, and threaten with Fire, But if he earthquakes or Hammer Arms then im pretty dead.

Bronzong (27503 usages)= Heatran can try, If it has Earthquake and i miss with fire blast then Im pretty dead.

Infernape (26687 usages)= Talked about this one. I need a counter for it.

Swampert (22959 usages)= I don't have one. I Have basically no counters for Bulky Waters though, so help me on that.

Weavile (22164 usages)= Bronzong, or maybe Heatran. Team doesn't really fear it.

Skarmory (21335 usages)= Boah if it has thunder bolt. Heatran.

Forretress (21274 usages)= Heatran, Swampert.

Gliscor (19749 usages)= Swampert.

Cresselia (19610 usages)= I pretty much get owned by cress without crunch/darkpulse on Tyranitar.

This RMT is also very hard to read, try cleaning up the original post. As Blue Harvest said, it's very Mixape weak, it rips through pretty much everything almost uncontested. Garchomp is your only chance against it.
 
Some sand teams do not require sand proof pokemon you know. There are a couple that can be useful for this. Hm a blissey(yeah hated) can fit in or maybe a wall like Weezing? Just a suggestion.

Your TTar defintiely wants dark pulse for STAB, as well as the ability to swing through ghosts who switch into FP. Your last move should be either ice beam or fire blast (Flamethrower fails to OHKO Skarm).

No, you actually don't need a phazer at all. The only things that will commonly stat-up are easily killed by swampert anyway (except Gyara, whose taunt makes swampert useless regardless), and substitute is now a fairly uncommon move, except on Breloom, whom you usually don't want to be phazing since it can OHKO. Swampert is one of the best SR users in the game, so i recommend you give him rocks to free up a slot for Gliscor's fantastic support movepool.

"fantastic support movepool" of course refers to Taunt and Knock Off. Taunt is an amazing move--besides the obvious stopping recovery and status, it allows you to taunt Skarm and others and get a free sub with TTar or an SD with Garchomp. Taunt will also allow Gliscor to beat other Gliscors, Hippos, and other annoying physical walls 1v1. If you go with taunt, 56 speed EV's allows you to outspeed adamant Breloom, who could otherwise cause trouble for this team.

Knock off is good for obvious reasons.

Ice Fang over stone edge! Do you want to fail to SD chomp? This thing can't counter Gyarados anyway =P

For the EV spread, drop the 96 atk unless you have a specific reason for it. 40 SpAtk EV's will guarantee a 2HKO on standard BulkyGyara in hostile weather, and the rest should go in defense to help it beat SD Lucario and other physical threats should Gliscor be unavailable.

Explosion for sure. Can crush things that will otherwise sweep you, and it's a pretty good use for a 8% health Bronzong.

Lefties aren't really doing much. Brightpowder allows for ridiculous hax; or yache berry would allow you to drop substitute for fire fang. LO ruins his quality defenses, so I'd vote no on that.

With such a horribly slow lead, I can't help but recommend rest/talk Heatran. This team desperately needs a status absorber, and Heatran can already take poison and burn so why not let him shrug off para and sleep as well? The set can use LO or lefties, with Lava Plume/Earth Power/Rest/Talk.

The only problem I see with rest/talk heatran is that this team is already horribly slow, and removing choice scarf doesn't help. If you lose a couple pokes, then late game you will have trouble with your opponent's stat-up'd and choice item sweepers who outspeed your entire team. Giving Garchomp a choice scarf would remedy this slightly.

Thanks a lot for all the help everyone. If i were to choose to opt for vaporeon that wish passes over swampert, would i keep stealth rock on gliscor, or still pass it off to bronzong and give gliscor taunt/knock off. and since i have still pretty mixpert weak, should i drop someone for celebi? and who? garchomp is the only one not fufilling a huge role in my team besides amazing sweeper, but i cant afford to give up bronzong for stealth rock and special walling, cant lose vaporeon or else i am huge infernape weak. Heatran is my only special sweeper, gliscor is for heracross and physical walling, and ttar is for sandstorm setup. please help me with this!

Boah NEEDS dark pulse, cresselia and dusknoir will have a party without it.

Ice beam is in the last spot for gliscor.

thudnerbolt for suicune and skarm along with tentacruel

fire blast is for bronzong, skarm and maybe jirachi.
 
Props on building a team with only 2 Ice Weaks! Unfortunately MixNape destroys your team only stopping for Garchomp. Magnezone over Bronzong would work wonders for you just remember to give it Magnet Rise. You also need a status absorber, try STalking Heatran.
 
Thx alot, i will add in a sleep talking Heatran, but who should i replace for celebi, since if i drop bronzong for magnezone, i will lose my special wall. Also, could i fix this teams weak spead by adding in lucario giving it a physical set including extreme speed? that would help me revenge kill, but i would end up loseing my beloved garchomp. Would opting for scarfchomp be more beneficial? Thx for reading.
 
You could always run Cradily over Bronzong but then you will still have a problem with Waters. Consider Sleep Talk Zapdos/Magnezone over Heatran and Celebi over Magnezone.
 
sorry, i don't completely understand. Were you trying to say Sleep talking electric over heatran and celebi over bronzong? I would also appreciate answers on the lucario or garchomp question. thanks.
 
Fire Blast on Tar, ditch pert for a Gyara counter such as Celebi, make tran a restalker with 110 hp/ 220 speed/ 180 special attack, life orb, Lava plume/ earth power/ rest/ sleep talk.


TAY, you shouldn't suggest items like Brightpowder. I agree with the Yache suggestion though, and drop sub for Fire fang, and maybe Dragon Claw for outrage.
 
I understand that celebi is a gyarados counter, but bronzong is one to an extent, and i think we already discussed having vaporeon replace swampert for wish passing and gyarados countering. This leaves me iwth a DIRE need for celebi to counter other bulky waters. I could replace Bronzong but theni would have no stealth rock and would have to invest heavily into SpDef. Also i need help on a sleep talker, since my team cant take status. heatran was talked about for a possible sleep talker, but magnezone was suggested along with zapdos. Which would you suggest? If someone could help me with these specific questions, i would be much closer to finishing this team. TY for all the suggestions/feed back.
