After a short break when DLC hit with the retests and quickvotes happening we will now be restarting Break this team again. Congratulations to Lilburr with their Smash Blastoise + SD Rocks Cobalion submission!

Juno - 3
Lilburr - 4
codsauce - 1

This week's team comes from Lilburr, featuring our newest Pokemon in Memeoswine!

:ss/druddigon: :ss/skarmory: :ss/slowking:
:ss/obstagoon: :ss/rotom-mow:
https://pokepast.es/fa49032f19cf9cd7

"This is a momentum heavy Mamoswine Spikestack team, helping to provide Mamoswine with a lot of breaking opportunities + limit its switch ins with hazards. Druddigon + Skarmory forms an entry hazard stacking core that is very strong against physical Jirachi due to Helmet (+ Rough Skin) spam, which Mamoswine dislikes, while with Dragon Tail and Whirlwind they can also be devastating to play against with Future Sight + hazards. Obstagoon provides a secondary breaker that appreciates Spikes and can help to wear down it and Mamoswine's main shared check in Skarmory. Rotom-Mow rounds off the team with a Ground-immunity and Speed control."
Submissions are due by Saturday!

LUSH LIFE (Virizion) @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Close Combat
- Synthesis
- Stone Edge

SYMPHONY (Starmie) @ Life Orb
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

Mixed Virizion has a quality match up against this team. The only switchins are Druddigon and Skarmory, both of which can be abused by AoA Starmie with BoltBeam coverage. With Synthesis, Virizion won't be easily worn down and can switch into the Scarf Rotom-C throughout the match. Starmie can also get in through Mamoswine trying to Ice Shard Virizion.

Kyurem @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Draco Meteor
- Earth Power
- Freeze-Dry

Hatterene (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Draining Kiss
- Mystical Fire
- Psychic

I think this team has a big problem against specials breaker. Specs kyurem kill someone every time he enters the field.

Hatterene is the ideal partner, he prevents Skarmory's spikes without fearing much from him.

0 Atk Skarmory Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hatterene: 81-96 (25.4 - 30.1%) -- 0.5% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Hatterene can get her life back very easily with Draining Kiss. Cm can sweep this team at the end of the game.

Reserving Cobalion + Rotom Wash (I made a mistake, I meant wash oops)
:sm/cobalion: :sm/rotom wash:
Cobalion @ Chople Berry
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Flash Cannon
- Focus Blast
- Volt Switch

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 204 Def / 56 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Toxic
- Protect

Cobalion set is cm, which can lure Druddigon expecting a contact move and Slowking, only to be greeted by cm boosted attacks, while also breaking past the rest of the team once it sets up a calm mind. Rotom Wash was added to switch into Glare from Druddigon and Mamoswine, as Cobalion is unable to reliable 1HKO them both unboosted. Rotom Wash has protect to scout Rotom Mow's choice locked moves, while also gaining some leftovers recovery and toxic is to deal with Druddigon.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Body Press
- Taunt
- Roost
- Toxic

Dragalge @ Choice Specs
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 124 HP / 252 SpA / 132 Spe
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Flip Turn
Stallbreaker Skarm is a cool Skarm set I found while reading the forums (not my set so s/o to whoever made this) that matches up very well against Druddigon/Mamo builds. It's actually able to handle Druddigon by Taunting + Toxing it, as well as most everything else getting toxic'd or Body Pressed. Even Rotom Mow doesn't like eating Body Presses or Toxics, but it can and will threaten Skarmory. This is where Dragalge comes in. Dragagle gives Skarmory a Mowtom answer, as well as softens up the opponent for Skarmory to clean up or vise versa. Dragagle can even Flip Turn on incoming threats to bring Skarmory in.

Congratulations to avarice for winning the last week of Break this team. As he noted, this team has no reliable switch-in to Starmie, which pressures a large amount of the team, which Virizion could also do while checking Rotom-M, and bringing in Skarmory for Starmie. All in all a very dangerous, and one of my favourite, breaking cores and works nicely against this team!

Now that UUWC is over for half the teams, (meaning we can more easily get teams off of people because they are willing toshare them), we are going to be restarting this project, starting with a team from me this week to get this out asap.

:bw/kyurem: :bw/milotic: :bw/weezing: :bw/rotom-wash: :bw/jirachi:

https://pokepast.es/e47b191d97e7a21c

"This team was built around the concept of stacking Toxic Spikes Neutralising Gas Weezing + SubRoost Kyurem together, a potent combination to help Kyurem get through threats like Hatterene more easily. Defensive Weezing also offers a nice check to Pokemon like Obstagoon and Lycanroc-D. Competitive Milotic offers a bulky water with reliable recovery that can become an incredibly potent wallbreaker if the opponent wishes to remove your Toxic Spikes for this team. Rotom-W provides a much required Ground-immunity when using Gas Weezing, and removal of your own incase entry hazards become overwhelming. Jirachi offers a Rocks setter, Kyurem check for Washtom/Milotic, and another form of healing for Weezing/Washtom with Wish, so they aren't so reliant on Pain Split. Talonflame rounds off the team with a much needed offensive check to Keldeo and CM Jirachi, and a potent cleaner and breaker."

Kyurem @ Leftovers

BABYLON (Celebi) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic
- Giga Drain
- Earth Power

911 (Barbaracle) @ Life Orb
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Shell Smash
- Liquidation
- Rock Blast
- Protect

Celebi is very threatening to this team once it gets +2. The only answers are Talonflame or a healthy Kyurem checking it. Its STABs put in a lot of work and with Earth Power Jirachi isn't an issue. Barbaracle is an underrated threat that can set up on Talonflame and clean up once Rotom-Wash and Weezing are worn down or removed by Celebi.

Terrakion @ Choice Band
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Noivern @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- U-turn
- Roost

This team has absolutely no Terrakion switch in whatsoever, as even Weezing and Miltoic are 2HKOed. SD Terrakion cannot however setup on any of these pokemon, so the best Terrak vs this build is def CB. Talonflame still outruns Terrakion, and while a non chipped Terrakion doesn't get KO'd by tflame (cuz it's weak as hell), it still cannot reliably come in on Talonflame, as Brave Bird almost always 2HKOs. Noivern helps Terrak out by outrunning and destroying tflame 1v1, checking Rotom Wash incase Rak locks itself into EQ, and provides chip and u-turn support for Terrakion. No rocks on this team, but Terrakion also can break down rocks and spdef walls like Sylv and PG2 for Noivern.

Toxtricity + Grimm

:sm/toxtricity:

Toxtricity @ Throat Spray
Ability: Punk Rock
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shift Gear
- Overdrive
- Boomburst
- Snarl

Long story short Toxtricity eats this team alive once it sets up. It not only switches in and uses Weezing as set up fodder, it dosen't mind the t - spikes it sets up and absorbs them for team mates. Even before it sets up, none of the team members can switch in as its stabs are unresisted, with the added benefit of bypassing subsitutes, meaning it can switch in agaisnt Milotic with the added toxic immunity thanks to its typing, which also gives it a resistance to priority brave bird. However, the problem comes in actually finding the oppurtunity to set up and switch in, due to it's only decent bulk it can be knocked out early by strong neutral hits, or even worse an Earth Power from Kyurem.

:sm/grimmsnarl:

Grimmsnarl @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Spirit Break
- Taunt

This is where Grimm comes in. It's sole purpose is to set screens, but it also has priority taunt to shut down defogs, recovery in roost/recover and passing wish or setting up subsitutes or a SD. Spirit break was added to at least dent Milotic and Rotom Wash to prevent it from being too passive and makes it easier for Toxt to switch in thanks to the -1 Spa and actually take on Kyreum.

Overall the core can get overwhelmed, but with good positioning Toxtricity can easily pull of a clean sweep.

Banned deucer.
U cant vote for all three options can you? that is a really tough choice this time, but my vote has to go somewhere so my vote goes to: avarice
i love the celebi here and barbaracle is always tough to play around once it gets a shell smash up.

Sorry for the delay everyone! As shifts just came out we're ready to go into a new week featuring some of our new arrivals! The winner for our last week is avarice! Congratulations!

Our next team is provided by me!

:ss/slowbro: :ss/cobalion: :ss/noivern: :ss/weezing-galar: :ss/golurk:

Zarude @ Expert Belt
Ability: Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Power Whip
- Darkest Lariat
- Close Combat
- Bulk Up

Slowbro @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Teleport
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Thunder Wave

Cobalion @ Chople Berry
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Close Combat
- Volt Switch

Noivern @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roost
- Draco Meteor
- Hurricane
- Flamethrower

Weezing-Galar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 200 HP / 252 SpA / 56 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic Spikes
- Strange Steam

- Shadow Ball

Golurk @ Assault Vest
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Poltergeist
- Earthquake
- Dynamic Punch
- Ice Punch

As soon as the new drops were revealed, I wanted to make a team with Zarude. Zarude and Slowbro made a great core together, as they are able to cover each other and what they were weak to, along with Slowbro being able to easily bring any of my other mons in safely. Slowbro with Thunder Wave helped my rather slow team keep up. Cobalion is next, providing me with rocks and a second pivot to finish off my core with Slowbro and Zarude. Noivern gave me some much needed speed and just a great overall attacker that covered a few pokemon i was otherwise weak to. Galarian Weezing was an overall nice glue pick, along with providing toxic spikes that help weaken bulkier teams. Golurk is my last slot, and it helped provide a electric and fighting immunity, and being an overall nice breaker with great coverage. Assault Vest provides it with insurance against some pokemon like Noivern which Golurk can than beat with its coverage.

This submission phase ends Sunday, September 13th! Have fun everyone!

:ss/slowking: + :ss/mienshao:
Slowking @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 64 Def / 12 SpA / 180 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Teleport
- Thunder Wave

Mienshao @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- U-turn

People tend to forget SD Mienshao exists and how insanely powerful it is. For example, +2 LO Close Combat has 75% chance to OHKO Noivern from full. Cobalion is OHKO'd through Chople when Shao is at +2 as well, if you can manage to para it. The cool thing about Slowking Paralysis is that it's twaves are relatively free. The only thing that would come in on Twave is Golurk, which fears Scald. Slowking also tends to invite in Noivern and Zarude, so Twave punishes these, freeing up Mienshao from being revenged/risking speed tie. King can also defensively check Noivern and Cobalion (volt does 0 because special fat) for Mienshao, while Mienshao can offensively pressure the likes of Zarude and threaten Golurk with Knock Off, as Knock OHKO's 4HP/0Def AV Lurk always. Overall, this is a balance core that kinda just goes ham vs this team.
