Re: SOMALIA:
Circuit hosts received evidence that SOMALIA asked for an opponent to forfeit a game against his week 3 ladder alt, offering to forfeit a high level match on another alt in return. His opponent rejected this offer. The evidence was then sent to the TD team.
Shortly following this incident, SOMALIA independently messaged one of the tournament directors, self-reporting the incident and explaining that it was a one-time offense due to frustration during a poor ladder streak. This message was sent to the TD in question unprompted, and before SOMALIA was informed that he was under investigation.
While all evidence appears to back up that this was a solitary incident, requesting a forfeit during a ladder tournament and offering to arrange a future forfeit to another ladder tournament player is strictly against the rules. Therefore, SOMALIA will be disqualified from the 2020 edition of the SS UU Ladder Tournament. However, due to the solitary nature of the incident, the fact that no forfeit occurred and the fact that SOMALIA independently and immediately reported the incident himself, the TDs will not be issuing a tournament ban at this time.
Result: SOMALIA will be disqualified from UULT and will not be permitted to participate in this or future weeks.
