SSPL III Commencement Thread

The Diva's are here and so is the Diva's Tryout Form!

Diva's Tryout Form

If you would like to be on the Diva's this year you must correctly answer the questions on the form!

As an organization, the Diva's strive for excellence and never settle, so this quiz is designed to sift out the weak and give
Me, Vulpix and pj a better understanding of who you are as a person and a player.

Me, Vulpix and pj will personally reach out to you via Discord if you pass the test.

Good luck!

Now that SSPL III features four OU slots, it is especially important to craft an engaged and solid OU core. Therefore, I'd like to list some newer SS OU players that I think should not go undrafted that (iirc) were not in SSPL II. Hopefully others make similar posts to bring up more players.
  • Xuwu: One of the most dedicated and polite players I've interacted with on Smogon. On top of a solid performance in SSLT I and SS OU Circuit tours, he's also in winners finals of OU Stour Tour and made top cut of Smogon Masters II, meaning he is strong in more than just SS OU. His approach to learning and improving in various metagames is very impressive.
  • Lacks: Another very strong player. I've mostly interacted with him through SS OU Circuit tours, where he reached losers finals of SS Winter Seasonal III and is currently in top 16 of SS GC III, where he has muscled past many accomplished players.
  • Hazardeur: Anyone who's on ladder knows who this is and knows he's a very strong player. He's finally gotten into both individual and team tours, and has already put up some very strong results. He's currently top 8 of SS GC, made top 8 of SSLT I and had a solid showing in Masters League.
There are of course many other underrated players who are very strong but I don't want to keep this too long. I have no doubt that more hidden gems are out there and I'm excited to see them parttake in this SSPL!
