[OVERVIEW]

Mega Sceptile can cause a lot of issues tobe extremely problematic for offensive teams thanksdue to its blisteringly high Speed and reasonabledecent Special Attack. Mega Sceptile is the fastest Dragon-type in the tier, meaning it can easily revenge kill all of them with its STABother Dragon-types with Dragon Pulse, such as Garchomp, Latios, and Mega Charizard X. It also has a high poweredpowerful STAB move in Seed Flare, which allows it to revenge kill fast threats such as Mega Manectric in the form of; Seed Flare. Thanks to its typing and high powered Grass STAB, it can deal in combination with Mega Sceptile's typing also allows it to deal with Water-types, such as Rotom-Wash, Keldeo, and Slowbro, easily. Another advantage of its Grass typing is that it is immune to Spore. Speaking of Spore, it isbrings is an immunity to Spore, which Mega Sceptile is also one the fastest users of Spore.. Furthermore, Lightning Rod might seem useless, but it actually is useful. Thanks it Lightingrod, Thundurus cannot paralyze it withalso gives it an immunity to moves like Thundurus' Thunder Wave, and it becomes immune to Rotom-Wash's Volt Switch. However, due to its frailty, it is easily picked off by fast scarfChoice Scarf users or priority moves, such as the ubiquitous Fake Out +common combination of Fake Out and Extreme Speed combination. This is compounded by its relatively bad defensive typing. N, which notably, it leaves it 4x weak to Ice Shard. It also doesn't have a very potent STAB combination,offensive typing and its strongest STAB move is very easily resisted. Because of thi; thus, it alsoften finds itself strained for coverage.. Mega Sceptile also struggles against Stallstall teams, as they tend to carry specific walls that give Mega Sceptile problemscannot deal with easily.

Spore is the name of the game here due to its insane speed. It canallows Mega Sceptile to put fast offensive Pokemon to sleep, such as Latios, Thundurus, Raikou, and Alakazam. Seed Flare and Dragon Pulse are your STAB choices, to sleep. Seed Flare lets it dent anything that crosses its pathMega Sceptile heavily damage its foes, especially Water-types likesuch as Quagsire and Rotom-Wash. It also has a very nastyhigh chance to drop the foe's Special Defense by 2 stages, allowing Mega Sceptileit to break through walls it otherwise would struggle against. Dragon Pulse is your Dragon STAB of choice, letting youallows Mega Sceptile to revenge kill Dragon-types such as Latios and Garchomp. It is also more reliable than Seed Flare in terms of accuracy and PP. Focus Blast grants Mega Sceptile the best 3 move coverage with its STAB combination, as it hits almost all Steel-types at least neutrally. However, if certain Steel-types that don't really care aboutare not hit hard by Focus Blast like Scizor or Skarmory are an issue, and you do not mind missing out on Heatran, you can run and Heatran is not much of a problem, Hidden Power Fire can be used instead.

A Timid Nnature is recommended, as otherwise itMega Sceptile would otherwise miss out on out-speeding fast threats such as Aerodactyl and Mega Manectric, who could otherwise smackich can heavily damage Sceptile hard with a Dragon's Ascent orand Hidden Power Ice, respectively. Maximum Speed and Special Attack areinvestment is used to be as fast and powerful as possible. Sceptilite is a must, as it is what allows Sceptile to become relevent in the metagamMega Evolve. Lightning Rod allows Mega Sceptile to absorb Thunder Waves easily and lets it block, as well as Volt Switches from the likes of Rotom-Wash.

Usage Tips
========

It is important to Mega Evolve as soon as possible. Luckily, Mega Sceptile has great speed pre-mega. However, t, though that is easy to do thanks to Sceptile's high Speed. The extra power is much appreciates, andd, while the extra sSpeed is needed to revenge kill faster Pokemon, such as Aerodactyl and Mega Manectric. It also grants you Lighting Rod as soon as possible, which isis also important to check Electric-types and be immunegain immunity to Thunder Wave. Primarily, you want to use Mega Sceptile should be used to put key threats to sleep and revenge kill at the same time. While it might beseem appealing at first, you do not want to fire off a Spore early on. Try and hit either one ofSpore should not be used early in the match. It should be used on Mega Sceptile's counters with it or a certain fast Pokemon that threatens the rest of yourthe team. You can also pivot Mega Sceptile into Water-types, such as Rotom-W, thanksh due to its 4x resistance to Water and blow them back with youra Grass STAB of choice. Bmove. Mega Sceptile should be wary about Ice Beam though, however, as that will destroy Mega Sceptile Lighting Rod andOHKO it. Mega Sceptile's typing lets it also pivot into Electric-type Pokemon, such as Raikou and scar, and force them out with your superior speed. You have to be wary ofits superior Speed; however, Mega Sceptile must be careful about stray Hidden Power [Ice] or powerful secondary STABs however moves. Mega Sceptile can pivot into Spores from the likes of Tangrowth and certain Ferrothorn sets, although it is not advised to stay in unless they take a decent amount from Dragon Pulse it is not advised to stay in, as they can probably threaten youSceptile out with their secondary STAB moves. Be careful when using Seed Flare - as spammable as it might seem, it is held back by its lowly 8 PP, as it has a low 8 PP despite being easy to spam.

Team Options
========

Pokemon that can handle Fairy-types, such as Dragalge and Gengar, as ismake for good teammates, as Mega Sceptile is weak to Fairy-type attacks while taking not much from either anything, while Fairy-types are not hit hard by its moves due to their generally high special dSpecial Defense. Pokemon that can remove Grass-types, such as Talonflame, Heatran, Rotom-Heat, and Gyarados, are great teammates to Mega Sceptile, as Grass-types can easily absorb a Spore and force Mega Sceptile to rely onuse its weaker Dragon Pulse. Checks to Flying-types, such as Raikou and Rotom-Heat, are good teammates too, as Flying-types generally takare able to easily survive Leaf Storm well and can retaliate with a Super Esuper effective STAB move. Heatran also does this and handlecan notably check Flying-types as well as Grass-types as well. Talonflame is a good partner, as Mega Sceptile can beatdeal with things that bother itcheck it, such as Rotom-Wash and Tyranitar. Basically,; any Pokemon that hates Rotom-Wash and bulky wWater-types such as Slowbro appreciate the presence of Mega Sceptile. Pokemon such as in general; examples of such Pokemon are Terrakion and Gyarados are examples of these. Wallbreakers such as Hoopa-Unbound and Choice Specs Dragalge can help Mega Sceptile clean up. Pokemon that appreciate the removal of bulky Ground-types, such as Tyranitar and Excadrill, also make for fine teammates. HEntry hazard setters are also nice, as they wear down the opponent's teams. Pokemon such as Heatran and Jirachi are examples of these., are also useful, as they wear down foes.

Other Options
========

YouMega Sceptile can use Energy Ball or Giga Drain alongside or over Seed Flare and Focus Blast for a more reliable Grass STAB move that also preserves Seed Flare's PP, but Sceptile will be hurting for coverage or's coverage and powerf will be compromised. Earthquake and a Naive Nature are ok anti-steel options if younature are fine options that can deal with Steel-types if Heatran is particularly dislike Heatran, or want to hit SpDefproblematic or if hitting specially defensive Jirachi a bit harder is wanted. However, outside of its niche targets, Earthquake is generally inferior to both Focus Blast and Hidden Power [Fire] as coverage moves. Substitute is a powerful tool all-round on Sceptile, as it provides protection from priority.; Mega Sceptile can alsoeasily use it, as it can generate free turns by forcing Water-types out or by simply sleeputting them to sleep. However, youit will have to either give up the utility ofeither Spore or coverage, something and Sceptile already struggles with its limited moveset. A Swords Dance set can be used, as itSceptile has access to either Power Whip for general power or Spore to ease set-up, due, which is powerful, and Spore, which eases setup, thanks to its usable base 110 aAttack and good physical movepool. However, other Dragon-type sweeperes likes, such as Mega Charizard X, Garchomp, and Haxorusm outclass it in that area.

Checks and Counters
========

**Flying-types**: Bulky Flying-types are a problem for Mega Sceptile, as they can usually tanksurvive a Seed Flare and answer backheavily damage it with a Super Effective STAB move of choice. The worst of these for Mega Sceptile is Togekissin return. Togekiss is particularly troublesome for it, as Mega Sceptile usually runs nothing to touch it and it, while Togekiss can potentially set-up a Nasty Plot up on it. Even if it doesn't it's still a nuisance. Mandibuzz, while not as common, easily eats up anything Mega Sceptile would want to do to ittakes all of Sceptile's moves. To make matters worse, Mandibuzz has Overcoat, meaning that Spore is completely useless against it. Other Flying-types, such as Assault Vest Thundurus-Therian and Talonflame, also cause problems for Mega Sceptile, although they do not appreciate a Spore.

**Revenge Killers**: Priority moves such as Fake Out + Extreme (add space) Speed, Talonflame's Brave Bird, and Ice Shard users likefrom Kyurem-Black and Weavile give Mega Sceptile problems, as it is not very bulky due to its low bulk. Choice Scarf users that can outspeed Mega Sceptile, such as Scarf Thundurus-Therian and Scarf Terrakion are also problems to Mega Sceptileatic.

**Bulky Steel-types**: As long as Mega Sceptile does not have a coverage move to hit them, selectbulky Steel-types are an issue. For example, Mega Scizor walls any Mega Sceptile without Hidden Power Fire. Some Steel-types don't care regardless of the coverageare not bothered by Mega Sceptile carries -'s coverage moves; such Pokemon include Klefki and Jirachi are both examples of this, as Klefki can take a weak, which both can easily survive a Hidden Power [Fire] and Jirachi generally doesn't take much from HP Fire.

**Bulky Grass-types**: While not that common, bulky Grass-types are an issue to Mega Sceptile, as they are immune to Spore. This is especially trueproblem is exacerbated if Mega Sceptile lacks Hidden Power Fire or other means to hit them. Pokemon such aslike Assault Vest Tangrowth, Mega Venusaur, Amoonguss, and Ferrothorn are examples of this.

**Special Walls**: PokemonSpecial walls such as Chansey, Clefable, and Porygon2 can easily take anythingll of Mega Sceptile can do to them's moves, especially if you haveit has already put something to sleep with Spore. Assault Vest Pokemonusers such as Meloetta and Thundurus-Therian are in the same field - they can tak cause the same problems for Mega Sceptile, being able to survive any hit Mega Sceptile can dish out and usually dodeal massive damage backin return.

Again, Walrein, you're showing flashes of brilliance here; it's not easy to fix prose without tampering with the writer's voice too much. I'll give this one a stamp.

I did notice, however, that on a couple of occasions, you made one change only to not make it another time where it was needed. For example, in OO, you didn't fix the singular/plural issues in the first sentence, but you caught them in the second sentence. That's usually a sign of rushing, so be sure not to do that.
