Tyranitar is a great sand setter in STABmons because of its huge stats and gaining new excellent STAB moves. Knock Off is great for annoying other Pokemon by removing their items, and Accelerock lets it hit faster Pokemon like Volcarona and Tornadus-T. Tyranitar has become a staple in STABmons due to sand and Shore Up, which give this monster some defensive uses as well. It pairs well with Excadrill and Dracozolt, which make use of its sand well. Tapu Bulu and Garchomp can easily beat Tyranitar, so it appreciates being paired with a teammate like Corviknight or Skarmory.

I would 100% mention Accelerock for Volcarona, at least to me that's the main mon to run it for. Other than that, it looks good! in the hills

(you can replace "excellent" but i wouldnt rly call accelerock "strong") Knock Off is great for annoying other Pokemon and by removing their items, and Accelerock lets it hit faster Pokemon like Volcarona and Tornadus-T. Tyranitar has become a staple in STABmons due to Sand Stream sand and Shore Up, which give this monster some defensive uses as well. It pairs well with Excadrill and Dracozolt, (AC) who which make use of its sand well. Tapu Bulu and Garchomp can easily beat Tyranitar, so it appreciates being paired with something a teammate like Corviknight or Skarmory.
