3 vs 3 match: Wi-Style. I wanna make a good Bug team. I can still have 6 pokemon total, since that gives me an option of what to chose my 3 pokemon from my team from, but I will only be using three pokemon on Wi. It seems harder to judge a team with 3 pokemon, but since YOUTUBE, I think its actually easier b/c people are posting videos of teams of three.

I like to have at least 1 Special and 1 Physical Sweeper, 3v3 doesn't allow time for much strategy, except maybe Trick Room since the game ends quicker and 5 turns is definetly alot in a 3v3 match.

Megayanma: Life Orb

Speed Boost

Bug Upheavel
HP Rock/Fire
Hypnosis/Protect
Air Slash

Scyther: Life Orb

Technician

Aerial Ace
Scissor Cross
Baton Pass
Swords Dance

Heracross: AScarf

Guts

Megahorn
In Fight
Stone Edge
Earthquake

M-Y has an interesting set. It Sleeps to gain free Speed. When the enemy sends out a counter, likely an Ice, Fire, Flying, Bug, which are strong or resistant vs Bug, I can Hp Rock them with 116 Special Attack. Or it can Hp Fire any Steels, Ice, Bugs, (and Grass types which are 4x weak to fire, and are only 2x weak to Flying/Bug, like Abomasnow).

This team isn't the best but it has originality. Scyther is there to Hit hard, and Baton Pass any Swords Dances that it has a chance of getting in.

Heracross is for any status conditions, other than Sleep, and hopefull not paralysis, but it can deal with paralysis. And it can sweep pretty well.

The below are Side Pokemon, ones which can be substituted for any of the above pokemon.

Forretress: Leftovers

Sturdy

Explosion
Earthquake
Stealth Rock
Protect

Scizor: Salac berry

Technician

Endure
Reversal
Blade Test
Aerial Ace/Iron Head

Iron Head is to hit Flying types with 120 Base Power, and for Flinch, Aerial Ace is for other Bug Types. Blade Test is for Ghosts.

HELP is appreciated.

A fast pokemon with a rock move, such as Stone Edge or Rock Slide will rip your team to pieces. Replace one of the Bug/Flying types with maybe Foretress, since he has good defense and takes Rock neutral.

Walls like Forretress aren't very stellar in 3 vs. 3. Reversal Heracross will do well though.

Also, eeeew, SunnyBeaming Yanmega?!? Heck no.

Yanmega @Petaya Berry
Modest Nature
Trait: Speed Boost
-Air Slash
-Bug Upheavel
-Substitute
-Hypnosis

Generally, in 3v3, you want all-out offense, because walls are really a liability. Choice Banders/Glasses, Dragon Dancers, and especially Gablias are potent choices.

Yeah, it was a novelty set, I didn't like it, but I figured it was unique, and could surprise foes like Ryperior, Swampert, etc.

I do like Scizor as well, since it can Baton Pass much safer. I do need help with a proper moveset.

Scizor: Leftovers/Focus Strip (Fire attacks)

Swarm

Scissor Cross
Swords Dance
Baton Pass
Feather Rest/Iron Head (for Rock Types).

Megayanma: Life Orb

Speed Boost

Bug Upheavel
HP Rock
Hypnosis
Air Slash

Rock Handles Ice, Fire, Flying, Bug, which are strong or resistant vs Bug.

Iron Defense/Swords Dance/HP Bug/Baton Pass Scizor (at 33% health, even) once saved me from being swept 6-0, turning it into a 1-0 win for me. It was up against a Steelix, who no matter how hard it tried could not do enough damage with EQ to KO it thanks to Iron Defense. After a few Swords Dances, it swept through the rest of the guy's team.

Go for the same thing with Scissor Cross over HP Bug (of course). In my experience with my bug mono team, Megayanma should have HP Fire for Steels to keep from being walled by them. It gets Ancientpower anyway. Contemplate giving it Protect in case the first turn it goes up against something faster than it.

It is hard to think of a Reversal set, but it could work, at least for Scizor. Immune to Poison (Spikes), Sandstorm, and Nuetral to Stealth Rock, it may not get Stab, but Scizor has a better chance of Reversaling than Heracross.

Also, since in Advanced there were more Physical Sweepers, it makes sense to possibly use Iron Defense then, but due to the fact that they may have a fast special sweeper, it begs to question if they will switch it in as I am Iron Defensing, and hit it hard.

Ok I changed Scizor's Moveset, and M-Y's too.

I need help with modifying anything else as a potential weakness.

REMEMBER: Lots of pokemon will not be used in 3VS3, like they will be in 6VS6, and VICE VERSA.

Also does Venemoth sound too UU? It gets Sleep Powder (but M-Y can Hypnosis and is faster...)

What are other Bug types usable but not listed? *I seriously DISAGREE with Beequeen, she sux.
