Stall Team based in Obi´s Team but with variations, lol

This team is for Wi-fi Tournament where the Legendary Pokemon will be forbidden (I wanted to use Heatran :( )

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Atk / 192 Def / 40 SpDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SpAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang

No explanations here. Starter, Stealth Rock user.

Skarmory @ Shed Shell
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Atk / 200 Def / 40 SpDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SpAtk)
- Whirlwind
- Spikes
- Roost
- Brave Bird

No explanations here too. Physical wall, spiker, p-hazer.

Tentacruel @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpDef
Calm nature (+SpDef, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Surf
- Ice Beam

Toxic Spiker, anti Mixmence, anti Infernape, good special wall

Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 156 SpDef
Calm nature (+SpDef, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

My second special wall (well, is more like a mixed wall), and status absorber.

Tangrowth@Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
Impish nature (+Def, -SpAtk)
EVs: 252 HP, 228 Def, 28 Spd
-Power Whip
-Knock Off
-Leech Seed
-Sleep Powder

Another physical wall, Tangrowth is awesome. It sleeps, it drops items, it annoys like hell, it destroys ugly Gyarados, etc

Blissey @ Leftovers
Natural Cure
Calm nature (+sp def, -atk)
EVs: 252 Def, 40 SpAtk, 216 SpDef
-Seismic Toss
-Protect
-Wish
-Fire Blast

A very special defense oriented Blissey. Since I have 3 physical walls, why shall I use it against physical threats?

Just out of basic curiousity, wouldn't a stall team, that was based off another stall team, that used Blissey to counter a lot of things, be weak to all the things that Blissey countered?

So in turn what do you do against Togekiss and Raikou for starters

Umm I am pretty sure this team will fall to anything with a decent special attack stat and a reliable STAB.

IMO you have a Trick Room Rain Dance Clamperl weak, 400+ special attack, plus the boost for its water move, GG.

Those are the kind of things you HAVE to have Blissey for on this team.

Tentacruel counters Togekiss hands down thanks to it's enormous special defense. Tangrowth can easily handle Raikou without hidden power ice.

However I do think that Garchomp should be ScarfChomp to add a little bit more offense and he can at least out speed alot of pokemon like Raikou, Infernape,Gengar, etc.

Tentacruel can't do piddly back to Togekiss, and kiss can Roost. What if Raikou does have HP Ice? They usually do. Toxic / Seismic Toss Blissey will slaughter them both.

Blissey would beat Raikou and Gengar, and Tenta can already beat Infernape... sort of.

Scarfchomp won't beat Raikou.

You switch in and they sub. They MIGHT Calm Mind, but they also might figure its Scarfchomp and HP Ice you from behind the sub.

lol, I said in the 1st post that this team is for a tournament when legends aren´t allowed, so nobody will use Raikou against me.

But if I use Blissey, what I drop?

No legends... Wow that is shit. Still even NUs will beat this team if you don't have Blissey, even CM Chimecho will eventually defeat your pokes when Garchomp is dead.

I'd first like to mention that there are no Raikou who do not use Hidden Power Ice, period.

Also any team with Weavile and some special attacker will basically win instantly against you, since only Garchomp can stop say, Porygon Z, but if Weavile kills him off then you're toast. You need a way to take special hits and Tentacruel isn't reliable enough really.

I think there is a VERY small number of them with HP Grass to hit Swampert, since dragons won't switch in because of the posible HP Ice.

USE BLISSEY!

Actually, most of the special threats can be stopped by spiritomb, thanks to the fact that he is immune to fighting, psychic and normal. SpecsLuke, Alakazam, Gengar, Azelf and Porygon-Z get stopped by him.

Heavy hitters OTHER than the ones I mentioned will own you... get another special sponge. If you totally hate Blissey, Snorlax does about 80% as good.

Not entirely true. Those SAers sometimes carry Shadow Ball or Dark Pulse. Especially Porygon Z. Both moves will leave a serious dent in Spiritomb. 2-3HKO is speced.

Since a lot of ppl said I need Blissey for not being screwed, I´m going to add Obi´s Blissey (Toxic, Wish, Protect, Fire Blast) (I was going to put Flamethower, but after seeing Blue Harvest team, I saw that is better 2HKO Skarmory than 3HKO it).

What shall I drop, Garchomp or Tangrowth?

Garchomp is a cleaner, but Tangrowth is an awesome defensive wall that protects me from Gyarados and Electivire, Knock Offs Lefties and Leech Seeds.

Thats a good question...

I say drop Garchomp, but you might have trouble killing other walls.

But if you dropped Tangrowth you would have Gyarados trouble...

Uhh... Weezing can wall break (sort of) with Toxic and Pain Split. Also it kills Gyarados and Skarmory with Thunder/bolt. But its up to you...

Also if you put Fire Blast on Blissey you should make sure you can outrun Skarmories. Just a few EVs in speed. Otherwise Skarm can PP stall you with Roost.

Updated. I decided to drop Garchomp, since I think I have no problems at the time to kill other walls

My doubt is: Toxic or Seismic Toss in Blissey?

And, is Togekiss a great thread for the team?

I´m thinking in reemplace something for Forretress or Bronzorg since I´m worried about Weavile too.

I would use Stealth Rock over Spikes on Skarmory, I've tried SR and it works very good here is a Shoddy Log to prove it:

I know I have flaws in my battling and don't comment on that, since I am an apprentice and still learning. But as my point stands Stealth Rock is a better choice on Skarmory. And also, I think I did very good in this match than my early matches on Shoddy Battle.

I´m getting very worried about Weavile. I´m thinking seriously in dropping Tangrowth and adding Bronzorg, which would help me against Weavile (and Togekiss), but I don´t know if it would do some damage with Gyarados (assuming Bronzorg has 0 IVs in Spd and Gyro Ball, but Water resists Steel...)
