At morning, you were woken by the humming of Death. He was shaving and generally grooming himself in front of a floating mirror. You all crowd around him expectantly. Without turning or pausing in his routine, Death explained the events of the night.

"As you may have guessed, no-one has died tonight. It is notable, however, that Eo Ut Mortus has gone a-wandering away, as has DaLetterEl, though the latter was never here in the first place you twonks."

A few among you cursed as Death snapped his claws and his cleaning-stuffs disappeared in a wisp of purple smoke. He put on some sunglasses and an Indiana Jones-esque hat.

"Today we begin our exploration of the temple. You must note, however, that there will be one of you who will not survive to see the sun. It is up to you who it will be..."

He paused, as if trying to remember something.

"Oh yes! I received some very odd messages last night. Take a look for yourselves."

You crowded around a small table that had suddenly appeared somehow. On it was a dictaphone and a very official looking slip of paper. Exarius picked up the sheet and read it aloud.

Official looking paper said:

Alchemator picked up the dictaphone and, after being slightly disappointed to not find any Remoraidz in it, pushed the button. It boomed:

When the group turned to question from whence Alchemator had came and why he was there, they found nothing. He had already left.

"Well then, into the temple!"

You climbed the steps, wondering who would perish...

It is now Day 1. Day 1 will end when the 3 hour grace period after a majority has been reached, or at 16:00 GMT+0 on Wednesday the 4th August.

I’ll be the one to take action and step up to be the leader of the ground types. I know I’m not an experienced player, but we don’t know which group has majority in lynching, so we mine as well not risk putting an important role out there. For now, the only criteria our leader needs to meet is:

1. This person exists, and is clean
2. This person can make a spreadsheet
3. This person has a back up who they rely in incase they get lynched or killed
4. This person does NOT need to be an important role. If the leader dies, it’s enough of a loss to lose a leader, you mine as well not loose an inspector as well.

Okay, I expect all ground types to claim to me, and I expect, if I don’t get lynched today, for the ground type inspector to check that I’m clean unless I find a better target by tonight.

I agree with Spiffy, but before that happens both factions need need some competent leadership.

The reason people aren't taking you seriously jiggly is because, like you said before, you are not a very experienced player. The leader of a village is usually the deciding factor in whether or not they win, and experience has a lot to do with a leader's effectiveness.

As for HFB, what Agape said. You offer no reason for anyone to claim to you, or any proof that you are who you say you are, and that is why it is not safe for people to claim to you.

We need some people to step up on both sides. I would if I had enough experience, but there are many people in this game that would do a much better job than me. We can't lynch anyone until we have a general idea of who's who.
 
Just a reminder that while kidnapped you cannot talk about the game in any shape or form. This includes IRC, forum PM and anything else. You also can't talk at kidnapped people.

follow with me ground types, but don't let it reach majority. I need to talk with HFB; allow him a rebuttal.

To all neutrals:
Generally a powerful role asks to be leader. There is a high possibility of HFB being a powerful role. So, the only 2 people who you have precedence to lynch right now is me and HFB. If you lynch me, you kill a thief, and one that tried to steal from DaLetterEl last night (lol). I'm no threat to you. But, if you lynch HFB, you have a chance to eliminate a possibly Incredibly Important role.

Because my argument seems valid enough, when I tell everyone it's okay to reach majority because I've already had a chance to talk with HFB, anyone who argues against me must be a farmer, and will be lynched in subsequent days. ANYONE WHO VOTES ANYTHING OTHER THAN LYNCH HFB OR DOESN'T VOTE BY THE END OF THE DAY WILL BE CONSIDERED A THREAT TO THE GROUND TYPES. If you have another vote and have specific reasons for it, pm me and let me know

Sorry, but power roles are the probably the least likely to lead their factions. That just gives the mafia or opposing village an easy target. So I'm pretty sure HFB is not a major role.

I would also like to see HFB's retalliation before just lynching him off the bat. You can never tell with HFB. O_o

So top being the filthy bandwagoners you are and hold the lynch for now. It can't harm anyone.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm retracting vote if my quoting of jiggly counted.
