Sorry for this long delay. I am now instituting a rule.

2 days (48 Hours) maximum for nights.

With that said...

Day 7 Lynching has ended.

The scene opens up above the rubble of the Bounty Hunter lair. Looking down on it is a craft of Imperial Soldiers and Admiral Piett.

"Mission accomplished, sir. Our intelligence even tells us that Han Solo was trapped under debris and was unable to escape. He is assuredly dead."

"Good. Very good."

The surviving Bounty Hunter shoot the craft down and Admiral Piett dies. blah blah


Gormengast was Admiral Piett, allied with The Empire, and does not really deserve a cool death since it took way too long for him to die. He was one of the co-leaders of the Empire at the time of his death, adopting a share in the kill power that Darth Vader had.


Night 8 has begun.
 
Night 8 is complete.

The scene opens on a Rebel Base. Leia, Chewbacca, and C-3PO have just returned, panting.

"Any...word...from...Han?" breathed Leia.

"No, no correspondence with Han Solo yet, your Highness."

"Oh, I hope he got out alright. Jabba's lair was attacked by the Imperial Forces. We barely managed to escape."


Just then a figure bursts onto the scene.


"Princess Leia, I have important inform-..."


The man falls flat on the ground, with an arrow in his back, apparently shot from a crossbow. Leia ran up and past him, despite warnings from her Rebel Alliance members, and looked down the corridor. Whoever had done this was able to easily and quickly escape.


Kingdrom was the dead messenger. He was a Rebel Alliance Member.

What was the important message he had to deliver? Were the Rebels in trouble? Were the Imperials coming to their base next?

not sure what else to go off of right now. The rebels have run low on people that can speak for the inspector, so I doubt we'll be seeing anyone identified in the open anymore. Gotta go on what's already known... additionally Gouki revealed himself to be mafia according to toothache, defending gormenghast.
 
May as well get akuchi next. Yes logically it would have been smarter to get akuchi first, but at least Gorm's lynching had some entertainment beforehand (and you can always trust Gorm to put on a good show)

Special note: Alright. This is interesting, I have to admit. The Death Star "dying" here doesn't mean the game is over. Don't think that. I let the Death Star be a role because 1). there weren't that many specific roles I could use for the Empire and 2). I had a really cool idea for it, which worked out, actually...

akuchi, you are the Death Star.
You are allied with The Empire.

Yes, you are the Death Star. Emperor Palpatine’s creation. The reason this objective is being carried out. If your weakness is found, the Empire is doomed. Did you think that you wouldn’t have a chance to protect The Empire?

You will not have a night power until the 3rd Night. If you make it to the 3rd Night, the Empire will be very lucky, indeed. You will pick up a certain power.

Assuming you make it to the 3rd Night, I will ask that you PM me with the name of someone in the game, and if that person has a night-time ability, it will be rendered useless.

Your goal is to aid The Empire in finding and destroying all those in opposition. You win only if everyone not allied with The Empire is killed.


Now, the Death Star had a special power that was not specified in order to keep it from being abused. If it got lynched, the Death Star would auto-kill the person who initiated the lynch, and the person who finished the lynch.

Thus, Yoshi King and Galahad have been killed.

Yoshi King was a Rebel Alliance Member.

Galahad was Lando Calrissian.


Galahad, you are Lando Calrissian.
You are allied with No One....Yet.

Lando, Lando, Lando. I really hated you in Empire Strikes Back. But, I have to admit, you are a shrewd man. Your allegiance is unknown at this point. Each night you will get to decide what side you are on: either the Rebel Faction or The Empire. At a certain point in the game, without warning, your position will be locked. Once you are locked on to either the Rebels or the Empire, you may gain a special power. Which affiliation will give you the better power is unknown. It’s up to you to decide which side is more beneficial for you.

Lando Calrissian had been previously locked onto the Rebel Alliance.


So, in summary, akuchi, the Death Star was lynched. Her special ability was activated and killed the FIRST lynch vote and LAST lynch vote. As a result, Yoshi King and Galahad have been killed.

Night 9 has begun.

Killed by an explosion set off by my own torps, how sad.

Edit: I even had a cool picture of me escaping the blast, although I forgot it was actually my role flying the falcon there, how ironic.
