[SET COMMENTS]

Belly Drum Cawmodore serves as a decent wincon thanks to its fantastic Speed, access to strong priority, and excellent defensive typing. Bullet Punch allows Cawmodore to KO faster Pokemon that would otherwise revenge kill it such as Darkrai, Booster Energy Iron Valiant, Meowscarada, and Dragapult. Drain Punch provides Cawmodore excellent sustainably in addition to providing coverage against threats that resist its STAB moves such as Equilibra, Shox, and Kingambit. Alternatively, Knock Off can be used instead to provide Cawmodore with valuable utility, as well as apply pressure to checks such as Zapdos and Skeledirge. Volt Absorb provides an immunity to Thunder Wave while allowing Cawmodore to setup on threats such as Caribolt and Shox. In addition, it prevents Raging Bolt from revenge killing it with Thunderclap. Sitrus Berry provides a larger window for Cawmodore to setup Belly Drum while providing an excellent STAB move in Acrobatics after being consumed. Tera Stellar allows Cawmodore to reach important damage benchmarks such as OHKOing Dragapult and Darkrai with Bullet Punch while maintaining Tera Flying's damage potential once and retaining Cawmodore's strong defensive typing. Tera Flying skyrockets Cawmordore's breaking power, allowing it to secure OHKOs on physically bulky and Flying-resistant pokemon such as Ting-Lu, Alomomola, and Krilowatt. In addition, it also provides Cawmodore with a useful resistance to Revenankh's Triage Drain Punch. Tera Fire prevents checks such as Kitsunoh and Moltres from burning Cawmodore while providing a turn to safety setup against fire-types such as Hemogoblin and Mollux.

Cawmodore fits exclusively on hyper offense teams thanks to its ability to tear through balance structures with Belly Drum. Cawmodore can struggle to setup Belly Drum without getting KOed, so dual screens support from Alolan Ninetales and Deoxys-S is appreciated. Entry hazard leads such as Hisuian Samurott and Glimmora are also excellent teammate, as Spikes and Stealth Rock support allows Cawmodore to OHKO threats such as Dragapult and Darkrai after a Belly Drum. Cawmodore also benefits from Sticky Web support from leads such as Araquanid and Ribombee, allowing it to outspeed checks such as Dragapult, Darkrai, and Cresceidon, provided they're not holding Heavy-Duty Boots. Cawmodore is completely stopped by Unaware walls such as Dondozo and Skeledirge. Therefore, Pokemon that can beat these threats such as Ogerpon-W, Raging Bolt, Stratagem, and Ogerpon-C are appreciated. In return, Cawmodore threatens to OHKO their checks such as Equilibra and Ting-Lu. Cresceidon is also a very difficult check for Cawmodore to deal with, so Ogerpon-W and Caribolt are excellent teammates. Finally, other physical sweepers such as Miasmaw and Naviathan pair well with Cawmodore, as they can overwhelm shared checks such as Arghonaut, Corviknight, and Dondozo.

On Sticky Web teams, an Adamant nature can be used over a Jolly Nature to allow Cawmodore to muscle through bulkier teams and revenge kill threats more effectively with Bullet Punch. An Adamant nature guarantees a OHKO against Darkrai and Dragapult after Stealth Rock with Bullet Punch, and gives a chance to OHKO offensive Zapdos with Tera Stellar-boosted Knock Off. However, should the opposing team be able to remove Sticky Web, the loss of speed will prove extremely detrimental to Cawmodore's ability to sweep, as it will be outsped and revenge killed by Pokemon such as Ogerpon-W and Chuggalong.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Electric-types**: Bulky Electric-types such as Zapdos and Rotom-W can tank a hit from Cawmadore and punish it. Zapdos resists Cawmodore's STAB moves and can paralyze it with Static or outright KO it with Heat Wave. However, should Zapdos forgo Heat Wave, its' ability to deal with Cawmodore becomes entirely reliant on getting good luck with Static and Hurricane confusion. Rotom-W can tank a Drain Punch and cripple Cawmadore with Will-O-Wisp. However, both must be wary of Tera Stellar Knock Off.

**Unaware Walls**: Cawmodore is completely unable to deal any lasting damage against Dondozo and Skeledirge. The two easily tank every attack Cawmodore uses and can setup on it with Curse and Torch Song respectively. Cawmodore is unable to beat Tera Fairy Arghonaut either, as Tera Flying Acrobatics is unable to 2HKO and Arghonaut forces it out with Circle Throw.

**Fast Status Spreaders**: Kitsunoh, Dragapult, and Cresceidon are nearly impossible for Cawmodore to beat due to being faster. Kitsunoh and Dragapult can cripple Cawmadore with Will-O-Wisp. Cresceidon can burn it with Scald, Encore Cawmodore into Belly Drum, or tank two Bullet Punches and 2HKO with Scald after Belly Drum damage.

**Fast Special Attackers**: Threats such as Choice Specs Darkrai, Booster Energy Iron Moth, and Choice Specs Dragapult can easily revenge kill Cawmodore. However, apart from Iron Moth, they need to be relatively healthy to survive Bullet Punch, and Darkrai requires Stealth Rock support to be able to ensure that it can take out Cawmodore should it forgo Choice Specs or Life Orb.

**Zamazenta**: Zamazenta can outspeed Cawmodore and use Iron Defense in conjunction with a defensive Tera to wall Cawmadore. It also can deny Belly Drum with Roar, or OHKO with Close Combat on Life Orb sets.

*Cinderace:** Cinderace resists Bullet Punch and is faster than Cawmodore, threatening to OHKO with Pyro Ball. However, it is unable to switch into Cawmodore and must be careful for Tera Fire sets that resist Pyro Ball.

Belly Drum Cawmodore serves as an excellent decent (Cawm is not all that great this gen tbh) wincon thanks to its excellent defensive typing, Speed, and access to strong priority. Bullet Punch allows Cawmodore to KO faster Pokemon that would otherwise revenge kill it such as Dragapult, Darkrai, and Booster Energy Iron Valiant. Volt Absorb provides an immunity to Thunder Wave while allowing Cawmodore to setup on threats such as Caribolt and Shox lacking Ice Beam. In addition, it prevents Raging Bolt from revenge killing it with Thunderclap. Sitrus Berry provides a larger window for Cawmodore to setup Belly Drum while providing an excellent STAB move in Acrobatics after being consumed. Tera Flying skyrockets Cawmordore's breaking power, allowing it to secure (Some of these are rolls even before clicking Tera) OHKOs on physically bulky and Flying-resistant pokemon walls such as Ting-Lu, Alomomola, and Krilowatt Cresceidon after a Belly Drum. In addition, it also provides Cawmodore with a useful resistance to Revenankh's Triage Drain Punch. Tera Fire prevents checks such as Kitsunoh and Moltres from burning Cawmaodore while providing a turn to safety setup against fire-types such as Hemogoblin and Mollux. Tera Stellar allows Cawmodore to reach important damage benchmarks such as OHKOing Dragapult and Darkrai with Bullet Punch while maintaining Tera Flying's damage potential once and retaining Cawmodore's strong defensive typing.

On Sticky Web teams, (Without Webs support, you really can't afford dealing with the speed loss this gen) An Adamant nature can be used over a Jolly Nature to allow Cawmodore to muscle through bulkier teams and revenge kill threats more effectively with Bullet Punch. An Adamant nature guarantees a OHKO on Defensive Gliscor with Tera Flying Acrobatics and a OHKO against Darkrai and Dragapult with after Stealth Rock with Bullet Punch. (You could probably work on making these two sentences flow together a bit more naturally). However, the loss of Speed allows threats such as Ogerpon-W and Chuggalong to outspeed and revenge kill it. However, should the opposing team be able to remove Sticky Web, the loss of speed will prove extremely determental to Cawmodore's ability to sweep, as it outspeed and revenge killed by Pokemon such as Ogerpon-W and Chuggalong.

Checks and Counters

**Zapdos**: Shouldn't really have to elaborate on this, Zapdos has been Cawmodore's biggest roadblock since pretty much Day 1. Do note that Zapdos needs Heat Wave to deal with Cawmodore though, since that's not really mandatory this gen like it was in previous ones.

**Kitsunoh and Cresceidon**: Kitsunoh and Cresceidon are nearly impossible for Cawmadore to beat due to being faster. Kitsunoh can cripple Cawmadore with Will-O-Wisp and heal back any damage dealt using Strength Sap. Cresceidon can Encore Cawmodore into Belly Drum or tank two Bullet Punches and 2HKO with Scald after Belly Drum damage. (Let's add Hexpult into this category and just make it "Fast Status Spreaders").

**Fast Special Wallbreakers**: Threats such as Choice Specs Darkrai, Booster Energy Iron Moth, and Choice Specs Dragapult take advantage of Cawmodore's weak Special Defense to revenge kill. Bullet Punch is unable to OHKO these threats while they can in return. (Reword this section. Also, bring up that these Pokemon all need to be relatively healthy to survive Bullet Punch).

**Bulky Gholdengo**: Gholdengo can easily (It's a 2HKO) tank Acrobatics from Cawmodore and heal up with Recover while threatening to setup Nasty Plot and reverse sweep. However, it cannot check Cawmodore if it has Knock Off.

However, Zapdos does need Heat Wave in order to deal with Cawmodore in return., should Zapdos forgo Heat Wave, its' ability to deal with Cawmodore becomes entirely reliant on getting good luck with Static. **Zamazenta**:
(With the Iron Press set you click Tera and either kill it by clicking Iron Defense -> Body Press or force it out with Roar. Granted, Zama's ability to actually check cawm this is pretty Tera dependent for fairly obvious reasons. Also, LO Zama just straight up kills with Close Combat).

**Bulky Gholdengo**: Gholdengo can tank Acrobatics from Cawmodore and heal up with Recover while threatening to setup Nasty Plot and reverse sweep. However, it cannot check Cawmodore if it has Knock Off. (Looking more into this, Gholdengo just doesn't really work as a check. Bulky sets can't do enough damage to Cawmodore to deal with it without prior chip and Cawm is dealing more damage with Acro then Gholdengo is getting back).

In addition, it prevents Raging Bolt from revenge killing it with Thunderclap. Sitrus Berry provides gives breaking "provides" repetition a larger window for Cawmodore to setup set up Belly Drum while providing an excellent STAB move in Acrobatics after being consumed. Tera Stellar allows Cawmodore to reach important damage benchmarks such as OHKOing Dragapult and Darkrai with Bullet Punch while maintaining Tera Flying's damage potential once and retaining as well as Cawmodore's strong defensive typing. Tera Flying skyrockets Cawmordore's breaking Cawmodore's wallbreaking power, allowing it to secure OHKOs on physically bulky and Flying-resistant Pokemon such as Ting-Lu, Alomomola, and Krilowatt. In addition, it also provides Cawmodore with a useful resistance to Revenankh's Triage Drain Punch. Tera Fire prevents checks such as Kitsunoh and Moltres from burning Cawmodore while providing it with a turn to safety setup set up against Fire-types such as Hemogoblin and Mollux.

Cawmodore fits exclusively on hyper offense teams thanks to its ability to tear through balance structures with Belly Drum. Cawmodore can struggle to setup set up Belly Drum without getting KOed, so dual screens support from Alolan Ninetales and Deoxys-S is appreciated. Entry hazard leads such as Hisuian Samurott and Glimmora are also excellent teammate teammates, as Spikes and Stealth Rock support allows Cawmodore to OHKO threats such as Dragapult and Darkrai after a Belly Drum.

Other Options
=============

On Sticky Web teams, an Adamant nature can be used over a Jolly Nature to allow Cawmodore to muscle through bulkier teams and revenge kill threats more effectively with Bullet Punch. An Adamant nature guarantees a an OHKO against Darkrai and Dragapult after Stealth Rock with Bullet Punch (RC) and gives Cawmodore a chance to OHKO offensive Zapdos with Tera Stellar-boosted Knock Off. However, should the opposing team be able to remove Sticky Web, the loss of Speed will prove extremely detrimental to Cawmodore's ability to sweep, as it will be outsped and revenge killed by Pokemon such as Ogerpon-W and Chuggalong.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Electric-types**: Bulky Electric-types such as Zapdos and Rotom-W can tank a hit from Cawmadore Cawmodore and punish it. Zapdos resists Cawmodore's STAB moves and can paralyze it with Static or outright KO it with Heat Wave. However, should Zapdos forgo Heat Wave, its' remove apostrophe ability to deal with Cawmodore becomes entirely reliant on getting good luck with Static and Hurricane confusion. Rotom-W can tank a Drain Punch and cripple Cawmadore Cawmodore with Will-O-Wisp. However, both must be wary of Tera Stellar Knock Off.

**Unaware Walls**: Cawmodore is completely unable to deal any lasting damage against Dondozo and Skeledirge. The two easily tank every attack Cawmodore uses and can setup set up on it with Curse and Torch Song, (AC) respectively. Cawmodore is unable to beat Tera Fairy Arghonaut either, as Tera Flying Acrobatics is unable to 2HKO it, (AC) and Arghonaut forces it out with Circle Throw.

**Fast Status Spreaders**: Kitsunoh, Dragapult, and Cresceidon are nearly impossible for Cawmodore to beat due to being faster their higher Speed. Kitsunoh and Dragapult can cripple Cawmadore Cawmodore with Will-O-Wisp. Cresceidon can burn it with Scald, Encore lock Cawmodore into Belly Drum with Encore, or tank two Bullet Punches and 2HKO it with Scald after Belly Drum damage.

**Zamazenta**: Zamazenta can outspeed Cawmodore and use Iron Defense in conjunction with a defensive Tera type to wall Cawmadore Cawmodore. It also can deny Belly Drum with Roar (RC) or OHKO it with Close Combat on Life Orb sets.

**Cinderace:** fix bold bbcode Cinderace resists Bullet Punch and is faster than Cawmodore, threatening to OHKO it with Pyro Ball. However, it is unable to switch into Cawmodore and must be careful for Tera Fire sets that resist Pyro Ball.
