I'm here to announce that I am stepping down as Tier Leader of the SS National Dex OU metagame. It has been a pleasure serving as TL for just over a year now. Unfortunately, I'm no longer (and have not been for a while now) able to commit the necessary time that it takes to maintain all of the resources and planning around this metagame.
Fortunately, I'm happy to announce Mollymiltoast will be stepping in as the new tier leader—and I couldn't think of anyone better! The heart and soul of SS National Dex OU, Molly brings countless years of high-level play to this metagame as a multi-time seasonal winner and the reigning circuit champ.
Please help me in congratulating Molly on becoming your newest Tier Leader!
On a related note, I will be stepping down from Council as well. But to maintain our 3 man crew, Clawed Winter has agreed to join as your newest Council member! Please be sure to give him a warm welcome as well. Clawed, like Molly, brings several years of experience as a SS National Dex OU playing at the highest level across all of our major tours. Across Mollymiltoast, kDCA, and Clawed Winter, this metagame is sure to be in good hands.
Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to lead this tier. SS ND OU has been one of my favorite metagames to play since starting on PS and joining Smogon. I love this community and will always be rooting for it, whether it's as a manager, player, or just a spectator from the sidelines. In this last year we were able to launch the first ever SSNDPL which will be making its return later this year and coming soon we'll be launching our first ever SS ND Grand Slam. So as you can tell there's a lot to do... so there was no better time to jump ship lol
Last thing before I go—shout out to Evilo42 and Murphy Lawden for everything that they do for this community. Your contributions are greatly appreciated and I know how much effort the both of you put into everything. Thank you again for taking the time that you do to help maintain and improve this community.
