OVERVIEW
•Stunfisk is the only Electic/Ground type. This type give it the advantage over such PU threats like Scyther, Vespiquen, Electivire, Aggron, and Pyroar.
MOVESET
Stealth Rock
Discharge
Earth Power
Yawn/Toxic
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Static
EV: 252 HP/ 252 SpD/ 4Def
•Discharge and Earth Power give special STABs that compliment Stunfisk nicely.
•Stunfisk is one of the best Stealth Rock setters in PU. As PU has started building a more developed meta, this is quite useful.
•Yawn or Toxic paired with Leftovers allows Stunfisk to stall.
•Static is nice, since most threats to Stunfisk are physical attackers.
•Calm nature and EV investment help boost Stunfisk's special tanking.
•Other options include Eerie Impulse, allowing it to take special hits even better.
Stunfisk's bad speed allows it to function well in Trick Room.
•Endure/Flail/Salac can be potentially deadly, especially with proper Baton Pass/ Trick Room support. Otherwise, Stunfisk's speed could let you down. It's more of a gimmick.
•Checks include fast physical attackers who can punch through it. Magic Bounce shuts down any hopes to stall or set rocks. Stunfisk can't do much to ground types and anything with Levitate. Grass also resists both STABs. These counters include Misdreavus, Abomasnow, Altaria, and Exeggutor.
