I'm not totally sure if this has been suggested yet so if it has then please forgive me.
Right now on Shoddy battles are fought with full teams, 6 on 6 single battles. They plan on having double battles in the next version. These two ways of fighting are considered the conventional, normal ways to battle. However, have you ever noticed that in a lot of pokemon games and shows battles are fought 3 vs. 3, but you are allowed to choose which 3 of your 6 pokemon you want to fight after taking a look at the other team. To see what I mean, just look at the team selection process in this vid:

In pokemon episodes they're even fought like this:

So, considering how practical and popular this mode of battle seems to be, why not incorporate it into Shoddy? Personally this was always my favorite way to battle and it's the reason why I couldn't get enough Pokemon Stadium. It seems like it would be easy to incorporate as well. After all it's just the same thing we have now, except you get to look at each others' teams before-hand and you select 3 of your pokemon. Doesn't seem nearly as hard to incorporate as double battles.
What's your take on this?
