Suggestions for my sun team?

Ninetales (M) @ Wide Lens
Trait: Drought
EVs: 120 HP / 184 Def / 92 SDef / 112 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- SolarBeam
- Fire Blast
- Nasty Plot
- Hypnosis

My lead to set up the sun obviously, as well as putting other leads to sleep, and doing some nice special sweeping with nasty plot. Evs are tanking Evs, though I might put some more into special attack.

Darmanitan (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Flare Blitz
- Return
- Rock Slide

My main physical sweeper, choice scarf helps outspeed other pokemon, and sun boosted stab flare blitz completely decimates almost anything in this poke's path. The rest of the moves are standard Darmanitan coverage moves.

Togekiss (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 80 HP / 80 Def / 252 SAtk / 16 SDef / 80 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Morning Sun
- Air Slash
- Aura Sphere
- Thunder Wave

My bulky sweeper, the Evs make it a nice tank. Thunder wave and air slash are standard serene grace hax moves, and leftovers and morning sun in the sun makes for great recovery.

Cresselia (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Moonlight
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]

My other special sweeper. Cresselia is incredibly bulky, and again gets the morning sun recovery. Psyshock is a great move to counter blissey, and hidden power fire takes advantage of the suns boosting power.

Tangrowth (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Power Whip
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

My other physical sweeper, and chrolyphyl abuser, this thing can pull off many swords dances and just sweep. Power whip is a high powered STAB and rock slide and earthquake are amazing coverage moves.

Cryogonal @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Recover
- SolarBeam
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Fire]

My last special sweeper, this Pokemon does surprisingly well in the sun. Life orb means that it can give out tons and tons of damage, and with that special defense stat and recover, it can take them as well. Hidden power fire is boosted by the sun, ice beam is STAB and solarbeam also takes advantage of the sun.I

The team is good, but your Tangrowth has too weak of a SpD to setup. You could try change the set up a little. Also, a nice replacement might be an offensive physical Venusuar set might work. A good one would be:

Venusaur@Life Orb
Jolly
Chlorophyll
Evs: 252 hp/176 Def/82 SpD
-Swords Dance
-Power Whip
-Synthesis
-Double-Edge/ Earthquake

With Venusaur's bulk you can usually get 2 Swords Dance, Synthesis, and then sweep. Nuff said.

No rate just a comment, it's nice to see someone make use of such rarely used Pokes. Can you make an exportable version so I can try out your spreads.

Well thanks, here's the exportable version. and i use less Sp defence on Tangrowth because I normally go up against other physical Pokemon.

Isn't power whip illegal with chlorophyll?
You don't want four rock weaknesses w/o a spinner. Slap that on cyrogonal

What about this Cryogonal moveset, i have been meaning to get dual screens as well.

Cryogonal @ Focus Sash
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Explosion
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Rapid Spin

Quick suggestion would be to Use Brick Break over Return on Darmanitan, better coverage, and it breaks screens. And even consider using Fire Punch.

A resisted flare blitz under sunlight has 117 base power. Unless the enemy pokemon is a kingdra, palkia, or magcargo, there is no time where using return will ever be more beneficial for you over using any other move. You would be better off using u-turn or brick break/superpower on darmanitan.

Explosion is completely useless in today's meta game, Recover would be much better, or something like Solarbeam or Ice Beam.

Might want to consider Energyball over Solarbeam for Ninetales. Just incase if a Tyranitar, Politoed, etc. switches into you (Solarbeam takes two turns to charge up in the rain)

Since I hate sun, I really have nothing to suggest other than I switched into Politoed on Ninetails so many times and got it caught into solar beam, so just listen to Zelda100 and run Energy Ball.

Thats all from me, *yawn*, here stating what Zelda already said lol,
(Cryogonal really? Isn't that NU? Nevermind....)
(Darmanitan is UU.... , Infernape outclasses Darmanitan )

tangrowth needs sleep powder. try replaceing rock slide. ive used a venasaur with almost that same moveset on a sun team, it works pretty good. u get walled by d-nite and skarmory, but that really cant be helped. sleep powder gives it a free turn to SD, or switch out if it comes to it.
