Sun Team

Charizard Y, Ninetales, Venusaur, Mandibuzz, Mamoswine, Scarfchomp

Charming (Charizard) (F) @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast

The main attacker, Really not much to comment on this mon cos he's all offensive. Focus blast is for Heatran, who is a problem for my team.

Photosynth (Venusaur) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Mild Nature
- Growth
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Earthquake

Another simple attacker, very fast in the sun and switches in well from the droughters because many people try to hydropump them. Rotom-wash has no show against this boy. Growth is doubled in sun. Venusaur corrodes the fairies with Sludge bomb. Giga Drain does a lot of damage and heals that lifeorb damage so I can take a priority attack, which is really all that is outspeeding me

H1N1 (Mamoswine) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

See you later Gliscor and Scarfchomp. Mamoswine is quite often a lead for me because of his great coverage, bulk, and priority. Mamowine is powerful and if he doesn't have a use in a given battle I can use hime to take a hit for one of my important pokemon and return a priority before dying. Thunder wave switch in, which is important for venusaur and charizard as they have no priority.

Sunset (Garchomp) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Veil
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Fire Fang
- Iron Head

I usually save him for after the sun is gone to clean up the mess. Most teams will carry immunity to both earthquake and outrage, but once Charizard and Venusaur eliminate even just one of those groups I can wreck with this guy. Firefang gives a nice surprise to switch-in steel pokemon expecting outrage, and the sun makes it legit like a STAB.

MandiBro (Mandibuzz) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Impish Nature
- Knock Off
- Defog
- Foul Play
- Roost

I can't take stealth rocks. I need this. So many people try to swords dance on him and get wrecked by foul play. People switch out after taking rockyhelmet damage and I knock off the switch ins item to get an advantage. A much needed counter for Talonflame, garchomp, Tyranitar and so on. Tyranitar will generally try a rock move but the accuracy never is reliable enough to kill him with roost going for me.

Sugar (Ninetales) (F) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Drought
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Foul Play
- Toxic
- Hypnosis
- Fire Blast

Ninetales can take 3 attacks from Greninja, but he doesn't need to. He comes in and takes and icebeam at 11%. They go to surf which does nothing to venuaur in sun, who cleans with clorophyll gigadrain. Ninetales can take any special attacker, and Hypnosis is absolutely destructive. It gives me a free switch in to any pokemon, and is great if they bring in a late game wall so I can multiple hits on it without them healing. Being able to put the opponent to sleep is great because a lot of my attackers are frail

Don't use sun teams. Rain teams are definitely better >< and don't give Mamoswine bulk, since it doesn't have it and it has a terrible defensive typing.

^You're better off maxing out Mamoswine's Speed, as GloriousGore has already pointed out.

You've got a decent team. :) Here's what I've got to say:

Sand Veil is banned in competitive play. If you're playing on Showdown this isn't a problem, but if this is on Wifi then please try to change Sand Veil to Rough Skin on your Garchomp.

With your Zard, I think running Roost over Dragon Pulse will be more beneficial. I can't see a scenario where Dragon Pulse would be better than Roost, honestly. And I'm not sure how I feel about dual status on Ninetales. Yes, Hypnosis CAN BE useful, but it's accuracy is so terrible that I try to avoid it as much as possible.

I'm a little bit worried about how your team deals with Tyranitar. I like to run Rain teams, and I find the biggest challenge is when facing other weather teams. Zard Y gives me problems...but obviously Zard Y is probably your best 'mon. Tyranitar on the other hand, can give your team some trouble. It's bulky as hell, gets rid of your Sun, whittles your team down with Sandstorm and can OHKO your Weather setters with Stone Edge/Earthquake. I know your Zard has Focus Blast, but you shouldn't be relying on a 70% accurate move to deal with threats. Also, Scarfed Ttar is a thing, so you'll need to deal with that somehow.
