now look closer at mine pokemons

(the main goal of this team is to devastate the opponent with my amazing power and DESTROY the evil forces of the decepticons__)

376.png

Metagross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 SDef
Nature: Jolly
- Explosion
- Meteor Mash
- Stealth Rock
- Trick

I chose Metagross as my lead because it can reliably setup Stealth Rock and handle many of the common leads. Trick can screw over any bulky leads like Hippowdon, Swampert, Bronzong, etc. If I'm faced with a lead like Azelf or Infernape I switch to Heatran to absorb the fire attack. Usually Infernape will switch out thinking I'm running the standard Choice Scarf Heatran.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk/252 Spd/4 HP
Nature: Timid
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Substitute
- Toxic

Heatran provides many resistances for my team and works great in combo with TrickGross. I find Sub+Toxic to be very useful to wear out its most common switchins like Salamence/Gyarados/T-tar who would usually use Scarf Heatran as setup fodder. After 2-3 turns of toxic they're usually in range for Flygon to come in and revenge kill them.

130-m.png

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
Nature: Jolly
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall

Gyarados is my first physical sweeper. I use Jolly over Adamant because it allows me to outspeed max speed timid ScarfTran who I often find coming in attempting to revenge kill me. Gyarados also absorbs ground/fighting/water attacks aimed at heatran.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 Def
Nature: Jolly
- Close Combat
- Extremespeed
- Ice Punch
- Swords Dance

Late-game physical sweeper. I was considering putting Scizor in over Lucario, but Lucario gives me a nice rock resist plus a good switch in to CB TTar who can give my team so trouble if I lose Flygon. I'm sure you all know just what it's capable of doing once it gets a Swords Dance in; rape. I'm considering switching to an Adamant nature and dropping Ice Punch because the lack of power can be kind of annoying against physical walls like Hippowdon/Skarmory, and most Gliscors and Salamences outspeed and ko me anyways.

330-m.png

Flygon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk/176 Spd/80 HP
Nature: Adamant
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Stone Edge
- U-turn

Revenge killer to stop stuff like Gyarados/Tyranitar from rampaging through my team if they get a Dragon Dance in. U-turn is great for scouting, and Outrage can suprisingly rip holes in teams late game. I'm not completely satisfied with Flygon though... any suggestions for a better addition to the team/better moveset would be appreciated.

Rotom-w @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 232 SAtk/212 Spd/64 HP
Nature: Timid
- Charge Beam
- HP Fighting
- Shadow Ball
- Substitute

Surprisingly, this set actually makes a great special sweeper. I'll usually bring Rotom in on something that I know will try to status me. Then I use Substitute and attempt to boost my Sp.atk up with Charge Beam. If I can manage to get 2-3 boosts in, there are very few things that can stop it from sweeping.

THANKS FOR READING!!!!!!!! :kongler:

any rates/comments/suggestions are appreaciated~ :jump:

Looks pretty good.

I'm assuming that right when the match begins you use Trick, so I want to point out possible outcomes to that. Let's say the opponent is leading with Aerodactyl. He is able to outspeed Scarf Metagross barely by one point, and that can put you in a tight situation. For example, you use Trick then Aerodactyl uses Taunt, then you're trapped in the move and are forced to switch, then Aero has a free turn to set up SR. On a reverse scenario, you attack Aero with Meteor Mash and he survives because he's holding Focus Sash. So either way I see it, Aerodactyl will always succeed in setting up SR in the situation. In other words, avoid facing him. That's seems to be a good lead set otherwise.

Heatran looks fine but normally Toxic works better in the sense that when you use it, you switch into bulky Pokemon or one that can take a hit decently after you've poisoned the opponent, such as Blissey for example. I don't see a Pokemon like that in your team, but I'm guessing you'd just switch to Gyarados or Flygon to resist the inevitable Ground attack that is aimed at Tran. Possibly running a bulkier EV spread on Gyarados will enable you to pull off Toxic with more success, albeit he resists Heatran's weaknesses nicely bulky or not.

Unless Gliscor/Dragons are a big problem for you, I'd say drop Ice Punch on Lucario. Run Swords Dance / Close Combat / Bullet Punch / Stone Edge, as a +2 Attack Bullet Punch plus extra power from LO will enable you to hurt Tyranitar effectively. I see Scizor possibly performing better over Lucario's spot since those Technician boosted Bullet Punch's will cause extra pain. Flygon is a lot more of a threat with Choice Band. I'd just throw a CB on him instead of Scarf so you can cause more mayhem. On Rotom, I don't get why you just don't go for max Speed and Special Attack. If you use Thunder Wave or WOW over Sub then you can cripple you opponent, esp with paralysis support from T-Wave. Luckily you'll manage to get some boosts from Charge Beam so that you will have more of a sweeping potential.

@Solidus, iirc the HP EVs allow him to survive Blissey's Flamethrower/Ice Beam, thus allowing Rotom-A to beat her with HP Fighting.

Overall it looks like a pretty solid offensive team, although I would watch out for opposing Gyarados, who can KO pretty much everything on your team after a DD. Your own Gyarados with Intimidate helps, but don't rely on it.

If you really fear the decepticons, I recommend switching out Gyara for Bliss, as it will completely wall all of their energy attacks.

On topic:

3 Ground weaks and 3 ground immunes?

What happens if all your immunes are gone? You're gonna get sweeped by EQ.

I think you should change your team a bit, maybe take out some ground weaks and add in a few neutrals, just so you have an easier time bringing stuff in.

if x dies, your weak to y can be said for any team. Anyway, i love that Rotom set, i used to use it and got a lot of sweeps with it. Have you ever considered Stone Edge or Crunch on Lucario, alongside an Adamant nature? It just seems itd give you much more of a punch, plus Heatran can Toxic Zapdos, and Salamence and Rotom W are both decent switch ins to Gliscor, the main 2 reasons one is generally using Jolly IP Luke
